Although its almost all criticisms in his reviews, after watching enough episodes you do tend to get an idea of what he is seriously criticizing and what hes exploiting for comic effect.
If he says a game is bad, such as 98% of his review, then I'll just watch it because it's awesome. However, if he says a game is good, then I'll seriously look into it, no matter what every other review says.Lenin211 said:Everyone on the escapist has watched at least one of his reviews, where he talks fast and points out all the faults in a game. But do his reviews influence the likelihood that you will buy any given game? Personally, I watch them for fun and if I want reviews I look to other sources.

He also refuses to play online. Which is particularly lulzworthy because the main draw of monster hunter games is the multiplayer. He seemed to think the game is exclusively about gathering materials, etc in your "best metal armour" when everyone knows leather is the best for a trip in the woods. You're right, because clearly only young people who almost exclusively enjoy FPS' disagree with Yahtzee. /sarcasmArchangel357 said:Lemme guess, you're under 22, and really like multiplayer FPS's...
Because he's shown himself as being almost completely incapable of understanding games? He's, in all seriousness & without exageration, one of the least credible & competent reviewers I've ever seen. I can't take him seriously as a gamer, let alone a reviewer.Agarth said:Why wouldn't you take Yahtzee seriously?
