I don't make a lot of threads but when I do I drink Dos Equis. No but really when I do I use the search bar, unless it's about something personal then I don't bother checking.

If you don't search, people comment about the search bar to varying degrees of severity.

If you do search and comment on an old thread, you're a thread necromancer and apparently just as bad.

Each forum has its own unwritten guide on how long you should wait before reposting something. Usually depends on how quickly pages fill and how far back the last similar thread was.

Unfortunately, as with all forums, you're damned if you do, and damned if you don't with the forum Nazis. Me? I'm a Grammar Nazi, which is a far purer form of Nazism.

I think I've only ever made one thread here (that I can remember), and yes, I used the search bar. Only nobody posted in it at all, until somebody else made pretty much the same topic a few days later. Which promptly took off and got something on the order of 200 pages. Oh well.

I haven't made threads before, but whenever I would go to make one, I used the Search Bar about five times to make sure no one has made a similar thread recently.
