I do Watch Anime From Time To Time, but i watch tend to dislike the ones with Cliché like Angsty Teenager Drama And spiky hair and of course Fantasy ones with The Main Character having the Power to stop all evil. I watch from time to time, Golgo 13, Cowboy Bebop Trigun and Death note, but that is pretty much it.

No. There are only 2 I had liked and one of them I watched when I got roofied (By caffine pills) (Excel Saga) and I lost interest in the other when they started to regenerate their limbs I did follow it through tho... (Baccano!) I prefer western cartoons such as Justice League and Iron Man Armored Adventures better in almost every aspect! (My opinion... *hides in the flamebunker*)

I used to watch it a lot, these days I tend to only watch about one or two anime series a year. New anime series just don't seem to interest me that much.

Yeah, I watch it. Not as much as I used to, but I watch it. I've been gravitating towards Slice of Life shows for a while now and have completely disowned Shonen action shows. Currently watching Hidamari Sketch and I want to watch Ika Musume sometime in the future. I went through AzuDai, Lucky Star, and Haruhi Suzumiya. I forget what else.

The last "action" show I watched was Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, but I kinda left the Sound Stages sitting. I (very infrequently) catch episodes of Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt and kinda want to watch Angel Beats.

Nope. A lot of my friends like to watch it, but I never found the appeal in it.

I do indeed WATCH anime but I do not BUY anime. UNLESS in fact, Miyozaki Films count.
Thanks for reminding me. I went on a Miyazaki movie binge the past summer, and it was awesome.

I love anime, i dislike the really long ones though. Like bleach, one piece, and naruto. The fact that it has over 150 episodes makes it feel like an elitist club. And hey get away from the main issues. I thoroughly enjoyed death note, darker than black, and now I'm watching code grass and it's awesome
lol, "Code Grass." Welcome to the Escapist. While you're here, you might want to drop by the Anime Fan Club. Spell check and capitalization is your friend, don't be a jerk, and you'll get along just fine. Enjoy your stay.

I watch it, BUT I do other things besides that. I have a good balance between anime/manga and my life in general. Just so I don't get singled out to be called Otaku

I believe the people you are thinking of are "weeabos". Even the fans hate weeabos. Don't let someone telling you they're a fan of anime make you think they are of the "Japan is superior" kind.

[sub]Yeah, I suspect you know this already. I just need to make sure...[/sub]
May I present to you, Adventures of the Weeaboo!

I've been watching anime for about a year and a half now. I can safely say I quite like it.

I haven't watched Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, or anything like that, and don't plan to either.

Heh. I'm making myself instant ramen as I'm reading that comic...

I think it's mostly dumb, over rated, and very annoying how much people obsess over it.

Do I think it's all dumb? No; there are a few that I've liked and if a friend thinks I should give a certain anime a try then I will. As dumb as I tend to find it, I don't totally oppose it.

Yes. I love anime. I've been watching it a little less lately because of school, but I still absolutely love it.

...But I hate weaboos. Well, most weaboos.

When I start a series, and its a really good series, I'll stay up till 3am when I have to wake up the next day at 9.
I love anime so much.

A good chunk of anime is really poorly made and/or crap, yet still popular, and I'll never understand why.
Oh well. Different people, different tastes I guess.
I just hate it when people assume I like Naruto and Inyuasha when I say "I like anime", because those are the only ones they know about >.>

While most people watch TV for a couple hours a day, or just watch a certain show a few times a week, my 'variant' is anime that I watch whenever I feel like it.

My god your outdated Monster is "recent"?... bebop, GITS, Naruto? all of these are old as time itself, you should go get Durarara, Bakemonogatari, Requiem for the Phamton, some really RECENT movies like Summer Wars, The Girl who Leap Trough Time, Eva 2.22, King of Thorn, Unlimited Blade Works, really good stuff, matter of fact is material like these is what keeps me watching anime to these day (well The Girl who leapt trough time is not that recent but still rocks!)
Recent in that it's the latest anime that I've been watching. I wouldn't call it 'outdated' either, the anime is from 2004, the manga mid-90's. And what's wrong with old anyway? I actually prefer the old stuff, that new stuff you name has everything I don't want in an anime, only Summer Wars looks like it appeals to me somewhat. Why would I want to watch that recent stuff?

I have watched a few, I loved Death Note and Code Geass. I seem to go through phases, sometimes I watch a lot of films in my free time, sometimes TV, and sometimes anime.

Some Anime I don't really mind, but there's so much out there that suck so bad that I just can't get into it at all. In fact, because my friends are all so hardcore into Anime and other Japanese culture it's starting to all get really annoying to me. Like to the point that I hate all things related to Japan now.

One of my friends:
- Spends every penny of his paycheque on Anime and mangas
- Only listens to J-Pop
- Watches Japanese game shows when he's not watching Anime
- Refuses to read books that are intended to be read from left to right (mangas are read right to left)
- Is taking a Japanese class in university just so he doesn't have to have subtitles on to understand what's going on
- Repeatedly speaks Japanese to us even though we don't understand the language
- Tries to get me and my other friends into pretty much every Anime

And yeah, it's REALLY annoying.
