I used to when I first joined the forums, but after a while I learned that they're just like everyone else. Well, worship's a bit extreme. I guess I just regarded them as more experienced than others.

That right there. Just the fact that they post a lot, or that they've been here long enough to get a high post count, doesn't really matter at all.

I see. Would be nice if threads wouldn't 404 all the time. >_>
Yeah, the damage control can be a bit annoying... and it seems to be a bit... more active... than it used to.
Like, recently, anyway. Since a certain event. I've been noticing things.
Oh well, I document some of the important things I see. Like the massacre thread, where several users, well known and newbies alike, got banned, and the threads and conversations that popped up in the wake of the event. Several other things that I have documented.
That way, I can't lose to a 404 (Or 403), if I have the web page saved onto my PC, and I can load them at any time :3

I worship myself, but for a totally different reason.

The post count doesn't show how long you've been here, the "Joined: xx xxx xxxx" does.

*Bows down to worship HYPNOTOAD and Onyx Oblivion.*

People used to worship them back in the days of MaxTheReaper, but it seemed to stop after he got banned... in no way linked, but back about that time.
I have to say, i didn't have any fondness towards people with thousands of posts in the first place - but Maxi has convinced me i should be actively wary of those with high post counts. So no, i am pretty damn far from worshiping them. Actually, i don't worship anyone or anything except maybe for Lombaxes.
but i have seen the greyfox shrine in your room

It's just a damn number.

Simple as that.
Who on Earth are you and how did you manage to get that many posts without me noticing? o_O

Did you change your name or something!?

Quantity may have a quality all its own in terms of battle tanks but not in post count sir.

Than can you explain to me why there a lot of 10k threads?

I really dont understand it, if I ever reach that number I will never make a thread about it.
Because to some people it feels like an accomplishment to get that high of a post count.
I never bothered making a celebratory post count thread.

I post mostly in Forum Games and occasionally group chats.

Sooooo what you're saying is ...I shouldn't have constructed a large idol with your avatar looping on a LCD screen?

OT: I am my own God.
Sorry about but Im going to have to laugh hysterically [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1j81zbxO0I] at that statement. Whenever I hear someone say that IRL they are nothing but an arrogant, egoistical prick. (Not calling you that)

I just dont like arrogance and egoism, not...one..bit.

Has anyone confessed to worshipping me yet?
No?!

Come an, you don't have to be afraid, it's perfectly normal.
Everyone does it!
Your avatar is adorable, and I will acknowledge this.
BUT THAT IS ALL. rah rah fight the power

OT: Not really. I tend to remember people's avatars more than their post counts, so if anyone I slowly follow along (and/or stalk) changes their display picture, I probably wouldn't remember them anyway.
It's more what they post than how often they post, but I suppose the Neo badge shows they know how to suck up to moderators better than other people, or just know that mudkipz are indeed a dead meme and don't post about them.

Ab-so-lutely not. Some of them I don't even like at all.

Also, post count doesn't show how long someone's been here at all. Like me, such an irregular and relatively slow poster that I am.
