I agree, some of them are funny. Most of the time though, I don't mute them, just shout them down till they shut up. I only use the mute button when they don't respond to said shouting down.Fat Man Spoon said:

From an honest opinion, not all kids I play with are super-annoying (Mind you this is coming from a guy who'll be 14 in less than a week, ZOMFG, PEGGHEAD REVEALED...HIS TRUE AGE!) some are actually helpful, fairly decent players who only speak when need be unlike the modern cliche of like "ARGHHHH STOP HACKING, LOL N00B YOU GOT OWNED LOL (Parent in the background politely asking kid to shut up) RAAAARGAGAGAGAGAGAGA!" and while their voices might sound annoying their fairly humble by comparison. I find on xbox-live it's not really a big deal when a whiny little kid starts either micspamming, complaining, sucking or all three because really who gives a shit. But it's when 8 year olds have begged their mums enough until they buy them admin on say, counter strike...source (Hwuah) and are given the god-like powers of being able to instantly kill, boot or freeze players when you have a problem, mainly because when say, you're playing jailbreak (I like a nice jailbreak!) and an 8 year old-admin's on the prisoner side and you're on the peacekeepers team, whenever they do something against the rules half the time you gotta let them get away with it or face being instantly killed and having to listen to their shrill-whining, it's an uneven catch-22 with kids who haven't even graced puerty yet (yes, just like the Twilight Zone...dadadada, dadadada). And yes, this happened to me just the other day. Mind you when they have no real power over you like in say...left 4 dead (This is a true story) it becomes hilarious to listen to them talk, ***** and claim they are somehow superior to you. Mind you I think half the time most of the whinier kids are just doing it...well, for teh lulz. I mean seriously, what person of this earth would ever brag for five minutes using words like noob and owned about how they headshotted a guy with a sniper rifle who was completely trapped and helpless (True story). But seriously, not all kids should be dismissed in a game simply because of their age, because like I said not all of them are the cliche of whiny little bitches the internet would have us believe.
