I'd push it after I'd explored the room a little more. When I was ready to potentially give up all hope and die, then I'd push it. Sounds too much like Saw. So I'd try my hardest not to end up in that situation in the first place.

By situation I mean 'shitty franchise'.

If it's a dark room, how do I know the button is there? How do I read the sign? How does the button say "Don't push this button"? Is it a talking button? And why does the button refer to itself in anything but first person?
