I don't mind bugs and spiders but slugs and snails thats a different story, I try not to go out when it rains I went out once and saw a slug on the sidewalk got grossed out then jumped like 5 feet in the air when I steppied on a pine cone because I thought it was another slug

Your fist your say? Hmm. I saw one the size of my face the other day in the tub. Seriously I like bent down and stuck my face in it. Then noticed it was there. I'm a guy and I didn't know I could scream until then...

Spiders are getting bigger in England I swear

I've been thinking about your way to tell the size of a spider so you might have very small fists or, there really is so big spiders in Britain.

My fist compared too a PS2 controller.

I'm fine around bugs and insects. In fact, I think some of them are pretty cool.
As long as they're not near my food and they can't hurt anyone, I leave them alone and let them go about their business.
Except for flies because I feed them to my frog and mosquitos because they piss me off.

No problems with bugs, but they can be pretty disgusting.

I once opened the door to go into the backyard, and a cockroach flew into my face. I swear, the amount of scrubbing I did almost drew blood.

that is why I check before I take my shower
Yep. Showers are better.

OT: I hate bugs. So, I show my cat them, and it eats them.
my dog is stupid... she attacks swarms of wasps... needless to shay she never learns

Cockroaches aren't as dirty as people think, and actually clean up bad insects and such, like fleas.
Yeah, they were on a cracked article about random creatures that don't deserve the poor reputation they have. On a similar vein, rats, but they caused the Plague didn't they? Nope, those were their ticks and fleas. The more you know...

You know, a few weeks ago, for the first time ever I thought, "Hey? Why don't I just be nice to spiders and take them outside instead of smooshing them?" So when I saw a spider on my wall, I went to pick it up.

Apparently my socks are very good conductors; I shocked the spider and killed it.

I forgot what the point of that was. But I don't like bugs.
Jesus, that must have been one hell of a static shock too actually kill something.
sry, i know its wrong but thats one of the funniest things i have heard all day.
and it is possable to charge enough static eletricty to kill a bug, the only reason i dont hear of it happening a lot is because im not shure my friends and i would try and pick up a spider.
i do get freaked out by weird looking bugs, but the only ones that bother me are crickets, if one gets in my house and starts playing its “music” it becomes a search and distroy target.

I searched a little and couldn't find a topic like this :3

Anyway, don't you just hate it when you get into the bath, you're relaxing in the warm water... then you look up and on the ceiling there's a huge bug staring straight at you?

Now I'm perfectly fine with bugs, however, when taking a bath Its rather annoying to have them in the bathroom with me, I worry that they decide it's a great idea too see what that human-girl is doing and jump into the bath... and die. I don't really want to be sharing my bath with a dead bug.

A few days ago I was happily having a bath, it was the night before school started... I looked up too see something... coming out of the curtains (on the side furthest away from me). Out walks a spider- and not just any spider, it was bigger than my fist (from what I could tell). I have no fear of spiders, but it was really... annoying, watching it crawl closer and closer to the bath.
In the end I had to get out the bath, pick it up and walk down-stairs in a towel and put it outside the front door (my Mum saw me holding it and screamed so loud it hurt D:..).

In all honesty, it was so big, I didn't think you could get spiders that big in England...

Anyway, don't you just hate it when this happens...? Or, for some reason, do you like it?
I am fine with bugs as long as they don't get too close.
I read "...relaxing in the warm water" followed by "...see what the human-girl was doing and jump in the bath..." and suddenly had a hard time concentrating on the rest of the story .

Not bothered about them, I even pick them up and put them out side or open a window for them instead of killing them, I think there fascinating to be honest, how the move, how they work, so alien to most of us but they just remarkable. I don't get were all this hate came for them.

My brother on the other hand is scared stiff of insects or more specificity spiders. Which is really out of tune, if you ever saw my brother you wouldn't think it, he's the definition of the word "built like a brick shit house" spends as much time in the gym as I do, not afraid of any one and generally gets in fights with more then one person at the same time and comes out on top, on his way into the army and he is scared (to the point of screaming and crying)of spiders, Other day he saw a spider on the landing about the size of my finger and locked him self in his room half crying begging me to move it for him, lol, some trivial fears come to the most unlikely people.

I tend to just slap them with a shampoo bottle or something like that. My fiance screams bloody murder until kill it for her. She is phobic of spiders. To the point she slept on the couch when I killed one in our bedroom.

I couldn't possibly be as bad as

BEHOLD! THE BEAR-SPIDER!
