I would choose to either quit the job or drop out of college, but if you insist on making smart choices and focus on your future *COU-loser-GH* i would pick dragon age 2, i just prefer the tactical combat and the story, no doubt that skyrim will have a much more interesting world to explore and i will get both and bribe my doctor to pronounce me dead, then when i'm done with them and return to work they will think i'm jesus and promote me, its a win-win situation, or well its a double win for me and a loose for everyone else.

Pretty straight forward. Really want to try both but can't decide which one I should pick up as I will only have time for one due to university and my job occupying the majority of my time.

So, if you could only buy one, which would it be and why?
Um, dude, they're being released six months apart, i think you probably have time. in any case, go for Skyrim.

Dragon Age 2. Oblivion was a generic dullfest, and I have no reason to expect otherwise from the next installment.
well if you've ben keeping up with the info about skyrim so far you'd have a reason to expect otherwise, but then again dragon age is due in march while skyrim is due in nov theres alot more info about dragon age out now.

Personally i'd go for Skyrim, maily because i liked dragon age origins for the fact that it felt like neverwinter nights, and i have enjoyed all of the elder scrolls series that i have played.
They're changing dragon age to something else, and skyrim looks more like a traditional RPG, so skyrim for me.

Dragon Age 2 when I finally have finished school in 5 months and got a console, cause my computer sucks and I am frustrated of the shitty graphics card, so I choose to buy a console. Also because one of my friends is yelling at me how awesome Skyrim is gonna be, asuming he played Oblivion like a noRLer and yelled at WoW players that they don't have RL and their game sucks arse compared to TES4

TES V
Dragon age REALLY Doesn't Push any of my Open world Buttons. Unless this is drastically changed in DA:2 I Probably Won't Be Getting it.

Don't Get me wrong , I Loved Dragon Age, and i Played it for about... 100+ Hours. In A week. And then Traded it in. It got very boring... fairly Quickly.
Unlike Morrowind, Oblivion and Fallout3/NV all of whom I Love , bought as soon as they came out , and still play with. I've Spent Over 1 Month Of Playtime In Oblivion - thats about 700+ hours.

The Main Reasons For Completely Going with the Elder Scrolls Series is the Exploration, and the fact that there are hundreds of more quests, and to be honest some of them where much better.more inventive than the questing in dragon age. Also Assuming the character creation is the same , well , frankly that's a lot better in the elder scrolls games as well.

So yeah , All In All , Skyrim - Bound to Have More Choice,Be Bigger, and More value for money.
Also I Practically Exploded with Glee when It Was Finally Announced Officially.

Skyrim. There is something about Dragon Age 2 that i can't put my finger on, its very existence feels wrong. I realize that that's not helpful. Anyway i loved Obilvion and Morrowind, and i would love to sink my teeth into a WORLD like that again.

I've got to ask: why do you capitalise every other word?

OT: I'll go with Dragon Age 2, but I shall buy both.

Skyrim will be called the best (more accessible by console players), but I think DA 2 will be the best

Where is the fourth option? Namely; All three.

I'm looking forward to all of those games. For different reasons. I'm getting them all (except Witcher 2, because my computer is shit)

What was the purpose of all this again? I refuse to pick and choose here.

My level of excitement is thus:

The Witcher 2 > Skyrim >>> Dragon Age 2.

I chose the Witcher because I have higher hopes the devs won't screw it up. As in, I know they won't screw it up. Skyrim will be amazing as well, but if you look back at Oblivion (coming from Morrowind) and on Fallout 3 you realize they were great games that could have been much better. I'm hoping they don't screw it up, but let's keep expectations realistic.

I'm not too interested in DA 2 since I've yet to play the first one.

EDIT: Wait, wait, wait. The Witcher 2 was added later as a poll option? No wonder it has only 4 votes when the others have 75+

For me it's between Skryim and DA2. I don't think I'll be able to choose between them. I'm interested in The Witcher 2, but not that much.
Although I'm looking forward to Skyrim a little more than DA.

DA2 imo, though Skyrim will be awesome too (but my wooden PC can't probably run it).

The Witcher, in my opinion, was better than Bioware has made in years. Not to mention The Witcher was also a CD Projekt's first game, the the sequel is bound to be better. I'm sure I'll love Skyrim but that will likely be more because of it's modding community than the game itself.

That aside, The Witcher is kind of has a disadvantage here as it's not on console.
