Poll: Dragon Age 3: Who do you think you will control? *Spoilers ahoy!*

Now that many I assume have beaten Dragon Age 2, like i've just have less then 8 minutes ago. I say it set up a sequel quite well. Though that is just my opinion. I think it will be difficult to say who we will control for Dragon Age 3, or it could be obvious, stay with Hawke.

What I think they should do, is sit down, and don't release Dragon Age 3 for awhile and do this:

Let you pick either The Hero of Ferelden or Hawke.

Now of course, this would be a lot of work, but I think it would pay off in the ending. Now I know people might get mad being the Hero of Ferelden being the fact that they would have to give them a voice. Which I think if they just used the voice you picked in the first game for combat that might work.

Though of course, this would also be a lot of work since not everyone's Hero of Fereldens lived, but it would be really cool if they did.

Now an obvious choice would be Hawke, since it fits it up that he will have to put the world back into order. Though I would really wonder, then, where would the Hero be? I mean, really, they wouldn't just sit around and do nothing. Odds are they would want to help Hawke.

It would make sense since it's easier than the Hero. Not to mention that mine died so...
I would have liked it to be him though. Much more interesting and customized than Hawke, but that's probably why it's too hard to do.

I Think I remember Witch Hunt being unequivocally listed as your warden's 'Last Adventure'. The disappearence of the Warden will probably be addressed in DA3 through various exposition, but I don't see them appearing as a playable character, purely because of the massive variation in what COULD have actually occured with the warden over origins/awakening/Amgaarak/Witch Hunt.

Likewise Hawke has the distinct possibility of being simply 'too uber' to be a primary PC in DA3. I'm tempted to suggest that Morrigan Jr. might be the PC for DA3.

Well they could hit you up with Morrigans kid (ya I hit that), they could do the whole Fable thing with growing up and all, and who knows what freaky magic you could pull being the bastard love child of a Gray Warden and Witch of the wilds(possibly dragon), and with Morrigan raising you there is a whole sea of odd stories and moral dilemmas you could get into.

Maybe this time the glowing eyes and demonic hands wouldn't just be trailer BS.

I had a Mage import from Origins
i got a Rouge as my Main in DR2
and if there is a 3rd game where u play another character it would be a Warrior

that way i got a 3 quarters of a whole party together if of course they all meet up for a climax

Really? Dammit. I hate Hawke. I don't know if it is the voice actor, the fact that he didn't do anything, or was his inability to dual-wield swords like my awesome Warden but I never want to use him again.
OP; I hope it is my Warden. If the world is on the verge of destruction then I'd feel more secure if it was him.

I didnt like Hawke, you didnt choose his origin, I either want the Hero because I have forged a connection so strong that Hawk couldnt breake it since he didnt have his own origin or no F**KING Dual Weilding warrior of death, or a new character exept let their be dual weilding warrior and same attack system from DA2 (Press a or whatever to attack).....

Yeah this was my first thought when i imported my old save from DA:O with my human mage. OT - I reckon it would be interesting to have 3 choices, your old Warden (If he/she died it won't be available), Hawke or a new character entering the story. Like maybe another Seeker from the chantry, or a rouge Templar (Or not depending on choices). Or maybe a mage from Kirkwall or another circle on the run.

Most likely we will get a Dragon Age 2.5 like Awakening and a bazillion DLCs to clear up what happens to the Hawke at end and then new character (WITH A CHOICE OF ALL RACES. INCLUDING QUNARI >.>) will come and save the day in DA3!
And Cassandra will be a companion. I called it!

There will probably be no Warden because at least a third of everyone's Wardens died in killing the archdemon. (Unless Bioware wants to create a plot hole the size of the moon.)

And there is a possibility the two will be on different sides,seeing as Hawke helped Flemeth and The Warden (probably) helped Morrigan.

Of coruse! Then Revan comes from outer space and save the day!

And in the final climax, the last Spirit Monk appears and snaps the Archedemon's neck, sacrificing him/herself to save the world.

They took out duel wielding warriors for a reason, and its not coming back

OP: Id place my money on morrigans god baby if it wasnt an age issue. The best we could say is that she had the baby about 10 years before all this crap started, and somehow i dont think playing as a 10 year old would be exactly normal, especially with romances, then it turns into CP.

Unless perhaps the portal morrigan went through leads to another plane where time means nothing (that old chestnut)
