Poll: Dragon age 3 yes or no

I thought bioware were doing something unique with dragon age...

Have you been alive for the past 30-some years? Dragon Age is about as unique as Doom was a well-written romance.

Elves, elves that live in the forest, Dwarves, Dwarves that live underground and are good smiths, the equivalent of orcs (Darkspawn), elemental magic, ooooh racism (about some 50 years too late to make a statement on that BioWare). And a friend who loves Warhammer told me that BW ripped off the concept of the mages being potential dangers straight from WarHammer fantasy.

Dragon Age was Generic McCommon O'Mediocre.

I'd like a Dragon Age 3, but I would first like part 2 to have an ultimate edition so I can get all of it in one fell swoop. Otherwise, don't bother.

I'd love to see DA3. I liked DA: O (even though the combat was sickeningly dull) and I adored DA2. I also don't understand all the hate Bioware has been getting lately. Every one of their games I've played has been satisfactory, some more so than others, but none were so terrible that I would feel justified expressing even a drop of the rage I've seen other people spewing everywhere.

They make good games. I'll keep playing them. C:

hmm, you really liked the combat in da 2? I was bored out of my mind.
Not really because it was a hack and slash combat. The Witcher games changed from a kind of poor tactical combat to a good hack and slash combat, which was still tactical. And i loved that.
But the DA games changed from a good tactical combat system to a REALLY BAD hack and slash combat.
But if you liked it, good for you, i guess

I enjoyed DA2, not as much as DA:O but still. I didn't like the constant re-use of areas in 2 without even bothering to change the bloody minimap and the dumbed down story but it was still a good game. I definitely want a 3rd dragon age game though.

Just let us fucking role-play again, Bioware! That's really all you need to do. It's what made Dragon Age: Origins great.

But seeing as we'll get voiced protagonists, it means fewer dialoge options, which leaves less room to role-play. Well... at least try to put more effort into this next instalment, m'okay?

I liked both, but obviously DA2 had some major issues. No matter how much they wanted it to be, you can't make a fantasy game play like mass effect. The characters in 2 were fun, but the lazy reusing of "dungeons" not dungeon textures, but dungeons...... I mean I get the thought, clear out bandits, new bandits come in and camp out...... but come on! If they fix that, maybe give the combat a less run and gun feel, i'd totally still buy it. I probably buy it still regardless.... but if it's not improved from 2, then that'd be it for me and bioware.

No, making a Dragon Age 3 would be silly. If they need to continue the franchise they should make a sequel to Dragon Age 2, because you know they DIDN'T FINISH IT!

I mean you don't end something on a cliffhanger (A cliffhanger with a plot hole in it) with out returning to it. So starting a DA3 while DA2 still lacks a closure is, kind of dumb.

I didn't like Origins I thought it was on overrated piece of crap and DA 2 was obviously a rushed out piece of crap with no story, but I'd still have to go with Yes; for no other reason than 3rd times the charm.

I enjoyed Origins because your character didint say a thing and it was a much better action rpg than the sequel most people disliked dragon age 2 because it felt too much like mass effect and I thought bioware were doing something unique with dragon age. My point being do you want to see a dragon age 3 if yes what do you want to see improved and if not why?

Well, having finally played DA2, I enjoyed it roughly about the same as ME2. As such, I felt ME2 was the weakest game in the ME series. But, if DA3 does anything like what ME3 did (take the best of both ME1 and 2), than I will very much be looking foward to it.

I bought Dragon Age 2. Origins was a gift from my father.

And no, in fact, it wasn't until Dragon Age 2 that I realized that a game series I once enjoyed turned to absolute mush.

I learned my lesson and haven't given them a cent since. Believe me, if I was going to be a hypocrite and buy the games I like while boycotting the ones I don't and veiling it as "boycotting EA," I would have bought Mass Effect 3.

But such is not the case.

Oh yes please, Bioware seems to have forgotten what the RP in RPG means.

Personaly i don't think the voiced protagonist is to blame (although it's not a big help either), other companies have pulled it off on Deus ex and The Witcher games, earlier Mass Effects too...
They are just focusing on the wrong areas, DA2 was an RPG ashamed of being an RPG (and very boring too).

Though i loved Origins i was never a big fan of Dragon Age as a franchise, the medieval fantasy setting is just not that appealing to me.
But Bioware needs to put out a good game to "clear their names" so be it.

If the protagonist is already pretty well defined, like Shepard, voices are a-okay. But then Shepard never really felt like your character, just someone whose actions and emotions you controlled... somewhat.

In DA:O you could build your own character from the ground up. Ofcourse the ground was set in 6 different origin stories, but the room it allowed you to role-play in was so expansive that you never felt pigeonholed during dialoge. And it's because Bioware didn't have to pay 6 voice actors to read hundreds of dialoge options each that this was possible.

If they it doesn't get rushed, is nothing at all like DA2 and is everything like DA:O with some things improved then maybe.
