Poll: Dragon Age Origins: Favorite Party Member?

Morrigan annoyed me to no end with her ceaseless bitching, but she was voiced by Claudia Black so that makes her the instant favorite without question. At times she was quite fun though, but jesus if you ever got her started on anything involving emotions other than hate I swear I felt like smacking her down with something blunt and leave her for the Darkspawn.

A close second would probably the Ohgren with his alcohol "problem".

Truth be told though, I initially loved Morrigan due to her extreme sarcasm and attitude, while I despised Sten. Didn't really like Shale either, and Zevran was an annoyance at best. As time progressed and I got to know them better, I eventually got to dislike Morrigan, like Sten, and Zevran got slighty less annoying.

But yeah, everything else is irrelevant because of Claudia Black.

I like Claudia Black and all, but didn't you find her over emphasising words all the time like there is a full stop after every two words, showed up badly by Kate Mulgrew, imo.
And she sounds exactly the same in ME2 as admiral Xen. Think her VA could do with a polish.

A few. One was a rather innocent thing who turned about several shades of scarlet deeper than my own by the time the ring finished. I do believe I may have scarred her for life. Shame on me then. Her BF didn't seem to mind much. Laughed like a hyena he did.

My whole life is like that sometimes. I'm this awkward sitcom where I constantly manage to get myself into sticky situations and embarrass myself. If I had to compare myself to a DA character, it would probably be Oghren. I'm the one most likely to say something completely inappropriate when among people I know. Now, when I'm around people I don't know, I tend to clam up and become painfully awkward. A little like Alistair actually. I also make stupid puns no one laughs at to try to break the ice. That's what makes these forums so nice. I don't have to see the confused looks on people's faces when I say something tremendously stupid. And they can't hear my ringtone, also a plus.

Alistair is great for the bromance (provided the PC is male) but I'm gonna go with Morrigan, for both character and combat. Teach her some sleep spells and cast Sleep, Waking Nightmare and Horror on whoever you missed, then sit back and watch your enemies kill each other. Fun!

As far as I know, Oghren is not a romantic interest. Such a frightening thought. Just thinking about what he'd do with my legs... *shudder* Although in the PC version, I've been led to believe that anything's moddable, sooo I suppose the Oghren romancers out there, if there are any, might have figured out a way to finagle some tent time with the bearded one.

Sten: When I first played through the game I ran with Sten, Morrigan, and Leliana (I played a tank). I liked Sten because he was no nonsense, doublehanded DPS and out of all the characters I felt his respect carried the most weight.

The party members i had were always Alistair, Leliana, and Wynne (or Morrigan sometimes when i specialised her in Spirit Healer).

Alistair because i found him interesting and funny from the start, and he just became my right hand man, like a virtual best friend

Leliana cos after talking to her for a while after getting her, i found she was pretty interesting and cute and i love her english/french accent. Also needed a rogue for lockpicking etc.

Wynne because, lets face it, playing on nightmare mode, a healer was ESSENTIAL.

I also loved Oghren as a character cos seeing his drunken moments was hilarious in the middle of the night, couldnt keep my laughter in.

The Dog is pretty cool, my gf also loved him heh

I'd romance Oghren before I romanced Jacob. At least Oghren has a sense of humor. Jacob is as interesting as a piece of lint. I bet Oghren knows a lot of bawdy tunes. He'd be great at parties.

Zevran. I loved him so much, it's great we get him rather than another smug asshole (Sky). He's surprisingly deep and affectionate, he's very sexy and it plays more like a real romance in that situation would i.e. casual out of fear of one partner dying.

Gonna go with Morrigan. She was incredibly useful in a fight, and I really liked her character, too. She was certainly the most interesting party member.
