Haha I once dreamt about Yahtzee! I'd just given birth, like you do, and then I lost my baby so my dad was helping me find it. We were on a boat of some kind and then we both got distracted by Yahtzee doing some form of stand up show. I think it was actually a Frankie Boyle/Yahtzee hybrid.

Yep, that's pretty much the sort of thing that happens in my head most nights.
So...you have a secret Yathzee-fetish? He'd be so touched.

Indeed, everyone dreams every night. Most of the time we don't remember them. Most of the time when I do, it's just a mix of all kind of strange things that I can not even explain that weird stuff. I did have a few dreams that came true that were strange. One time I dreamt that a mechanic told my father his car was broke. I've forgotten all about it the next morning, till the phone rang. Just before my mother answerd the phone I remembered it and told my mother that that would be my father on the other side of te line telling her this. I was correct.

I have a lot of nightmares due to stress and anxiety. I've been told I sometimes talk and even scream in my sleep.

Ahh, the memories.

From the very first thread I made on the Escapist:

J. Reed said:
Take this for example: I lived in a city not unlike Venice. In my home, I had six ocelot kittens that all lived in a big pile of blankets, and there was a big alpha male lion that hung out in there as well. He also talked. A bit like Aslan. And to travel anywhere, you had to hold onto a rope tied around a pleisiosaur's neck, and it would drag you through the canals to your destination.

The dictator of the city was a hippo queen. She wasn't very nice, on the same level as Caligula when it comes to depravity and violence. She regularly called in random members of the populace for inspection, and killed a few just for the fun of it. The day the dream was taking place, was one of those inspection days, and I had a plan. When everyone was lined up and awaiting her highness to pass by, I removed a very large kitchen knife hidden under my shirt. When she comes by, I would leap out and finish her off. It was a bit nerve racking as well, because she had a lot of guards, and there was no way I'd end up as anything but a martyr. But then, a whisper came down the line that the queen present, wasn't the queen! It was a stand in! No martyring myself that day... And turns out I didn't know what the hippo queen looked like to begin with. When I went outside, she was floating in the air. Like a gigantic Macy's Day Parade balloon.

God damn strange.

Jeez... kinda' went overboard, didn't I?

This was about the most nonsensical dream I've ever had. That I remember, anyway.

I rarely remember my dreams, but I have a reputation for tossing and turning, screaming or talking in my sleep.

Most of my dreams tend to stay with me. The good, the sexy, the weird, and the vivid.

Example:
Good: I had dreamed that I was driving. It's funny because I don't have my license.

Sexy: I was chasing a woman who lured me with flirtation. Though I looked at her square in the face, I never saw it.

Weird: While riding in a submarine, we collided with another ship. I ran to help fix whatever leaks we had, and I fell down an endless pit. Fwuh?!

Vivid: See previous.

I do have a lot of dreams, and funny enough all my "light" nightmares involve me getting into trouble for breaking a very small rule. I'm a goody-two-shoes, so I'll have a nightmare about turning in a book late or not being able to turn in an assignment in on time... it's pretty funny.

Other times, I'll have very vivid dreams that involve a plot. I once dreamed I was an undead mercenary that was hired by an undead kingdom to spy on the living kingdom. And the undead kingdom lived in a large underground metropolis where the only way in was a conical hole with a spiral staircase. And the living kingdom lived on top of a mountain that was adjacent to the pit. However they couldn't wage war on each other because the ground around them is desolate from a volcanic eruption. I return from my petrol around town and I unlock my stately home which was donned with marble columns laced with gold (probably because of all the cash I earned from assassinations and whatnot) and on my bed laid this beautiful girl mage with a robe trimmed with metal. I then fall asleep to wait for her to wake up, and then all of a sudden there's this male knight who crashes in from the ceiling and starts pelting me with daggers saying "I know you're already dead, but if I damage you enough you can be destroyed." I don't remember dying, I just remember walking past him nonchalantly and then waking up.

I can never remember my dreams but the ones I do remember are so bat-s**t crazy I'm not sue that i would want to remember them.

Here's one I had today with my 4 hour nap on my sofa.

I was living in a massive house, although all I can remember is that the bathroom was huge and through it was the bedrooms. Anyway I was living with my mate "Vic" and her best friend whoes name I don't know.

At some point we went on a massive scamming spree. We started with small targets, random people and our mothers. Later we tried to scam major television companies by sky diving out of very tall buildings holding boards with the names of the said TV companies like ITV and BBC. We didn't use parachutes but itwas a dream so we didn't need them. We because very rich and then I woke up.

All my dreams seem to be that kind of crazy at the moment. I don't know why that is. Maybe because I am watching a lot of animes at the moment? Who knows. All I know is that they are all that crazy and fun. I wish I had dreams more frequently.

Yeah, but oddly enough, I prefer nightmares, because of the pure, unadulterated fear that your subconscious conjures up. It's...refreshing, in a way.

Also,I like the feeling of waking up and realizing that it was all a dream.

I rarely dream at all, and the things I do dream about, I'd rather not mention here.

My dreams can be normal. However, they usually end up being so lucid and trippy that I don't even have an idea about what I'm doing in the dream.

I frequently remember my dreams. Probably inspired a few of my story concepts. I love dreams, so vivid and real at the time. Better than TV.

Last night I had a dream I drove into a lake and woke up when I began drowning and started shouting "help" out loud. I was a little freaked out after that. Normally my dreams are vivid and bizarre, but never scary.

I'm pretty sure almost everyone dreams at some point.

I have dreams very frequently. Vivid, sprawling ones with some (barely remember-able) narrative or weird conceit; not fully lucid, but there's certainly a component of control. Sometimes, elements of the previous night's dream spill into the next night's (my dreams often have distinct segments, but they feel contiguous, and they might even be built up simultaneously).

Also, I dream in third person. Not sure if that's weird or not.

Yea, sometimes. My dreams are usually very vivid and real but they sometimes have no logical connections to my life.
