I use noise reducing earbuds mainly as they are compact and easier to just wrap round my ipod and stick in my pocket/bag and they don't squash my mowhawk when I have it. No they don't always compare in sound quality but mine pack a pretty decent sound range and bass so I'm happy.

I use the earbuds that came with my mp3 player, they sound good and fit in my pocket quite nicely.

Headphones at home and earbuds out-and-about. If you wear full circumaural headphones in public you're a complete tosser because:

A) they look ridiculous on you, you stupid hipster, and

B) I know for a fact that either your headphones are shit and the sound quality isn't worth their size, or they're plugged into an iPod filled with horrible DRM'd 128kbps iTunes files, in which case the files sound like garbage and the device can't drive the headphones properly anyway.

The stupid "headphones in public" trend isn't as bad as wearing "packaged with the device" earbuds though. I will punch you in the face if I see you walking around with those in your ears. Spend $10 for a less-than-abysmal pair of buds, plz.

Well that isn't very nice. I don't care how mine look on me really, but they are certainly not shitty cans, Grados are some of the best in the industry, and also fuck iTunes files, I only listen to CD quality FLACs. And yeah, my player isn't the best at driving these things, there's definitely a bottleneck there, but it's better than using the fucking crapples like I see everyone else doing 9_9

Headphones for quality, but I've never worn a pair that was comfortable with glasses. I use earbuds because mine are pretty nice ones and they're comfy.
