How many of you honestly look at that and think you relate? If you do, you're part of the problem.
It's now the third lowest, actually.j0z said:I understand what you mean, I get that feeling too sometimes.
Actually, all users in general seem to sometimes think that they are elite because they think this is the best forums, and so they sometimes act as self-righteous jerks... sometimes.

You know, normally I'd try to defend myself but after a week where I've been told that I'm a miserable little cultist, that my opinions don't matter because I don't think Halo is the tool of Satan and seen PC gamers ***** and moan that they are being forced to play the same game as the console-gaming peons... I just don't care any more.Amnestic said:And of course, the best way to prove you're not a general twat is to insult vast swathes of the userbase.

If anything, I've noticed the guys who say "SEARCH BAR!!!!!" have lower post counts then the OP they say it to. And have been hear for less time then the OP, more often then not.A random person said:I thought this was about our tendency to say we're some bastion of the internet, in which case that's slightly justified but wrong.
But yeah, I haven't really noticed that much elitism with post counts. Someone who's gone gonzo is more noticed, but I haven't noticed flaming based on having fewer posts.
