Poll: Ever been threatened in RL?

If it's a cocky and weedy little shit, I'll give them what for and teach them not to piss off the wrong people. If it's someone with the capability to actually hurt me, I just laugh off their threats and walk away. I've never been in a fight.

I wish I was lucky as you. I hate fighting. The Adrenaline Rush is amazing but you can get it in sparring as well.

Many a times. It's one of the problems that comes with looking like your stereotypical geek in a very chavvy town. Most of the time I either walk on or laugh in their face.

The best time though was when a group of people tried to start something with me and my brother. The fact that one of them was our cousin really didn't help the other side.

Once for me that was actually serious, at least I think he was serious it's hard to tell since he was three quarters my height and trying to look like a gangsta.

Yes, Ive been threatened, but how many times have they executed said threat? Zero.
That's my counter for whoever threatens me.

A few times. Only twice they were serious enough to scare me.

Once when I was 10, I had a gun pointed at me by some wannabe gangster on the council estate.

A year or so ago me and the guys at work had to lock ourselves in because a muslim gang outside were going to stab us, police escorted us all to safety and got rid of the mob.

The boyfriend of a women I worked with threatened to beat me up once over a really bad joke on my part. That was horrible. First time I've been called a "Fag" too.

That's about it if you don't count the bullies at school who never ever touched me. Mostly because I was bigger than them.

Yeah of course, allot. I can never take people seriously when they do that though so it never turns into anything. That and i turns out i'm a good mediator, drunks are especially easy to mediate with.

I chucked a cake at a guy once (accidentally, of course) and so he came charging after me, but I dodged through some woods and got away. Other than that, no one wants to fight me. I guess I'm just a pretty cool guy. Either that, or my rather large size for my age.

Yeah, but a sudden shift from drunk to sober and firm grip on a pool cue discouraged them from doing anything. I would have got my arse kicked, but a "I'm gonna take out at least a few of your teeth when I go down" attitude tends to make people think victory's not worth it.

Twice. The first encounter was with two disgusting delinquents who tried to rob me; outnumbered, I legged it to a friend's house, making good use of several easy to miss alleyways. The second, alone, grabbed me from behind and tried to empty my pockets so I took his arms and proceeded to launch him over a wall.

That area was a dump. Still is. If you can imagine Ravenholm with chavs (druggie/alcoholic thugs in tracksuits) then you've pretty much got it down to a t. Glad I don't live there anymore.

OT: Not threatened, but been in a fight once. I lost but laughed about it while the guy who "won" stormed of with his group of mates.

in primary i was beat up constantly.

Now, ppl generally leave me alone, or approchwith caution in big numbers if they actually plan on doing shit. I filled out quite a bit when I hit high school lol

I live in Suburban Western australia, so yes.
Usually a little bit of wit allows me to bluff my way out of it, but when it devolves to blows I never come out too worse for wear
