Heh heh heh, belgium. I'm actually a fan of making regular words that sound obscene (not necessarily like curses) for expletives. One of my favorites (and the one that seems to get the most effect) is 'mensch', just as a regular interjection, or 'what the mensch?' Also popular: 'Pockets'.

Ever since I've watched The Trailer Park Boys I've been telling people to "frig off". That's the only one I can think of.
Frig off, Lahey! Frig off, Randy... get back in the car.

Shibata and chikuso are both Japanese swear words that sound awesome if you stress the hard letters. Shibata!

My mate Dave (everyone has one) came up for a term for all the nasty crap he didn't want to touch when he worked on the Tesco fish counter while at uni. Ghee.
Thats ghee, this is ghee, dude ur such a ghee. I later found a product (forget what it was now) in another supermarket that was infact Ghee, I thanked the lord for my camera phone that day :)

I say piss quite a bit - ok it's a real word but I'm coined it's use in replace of S**t I also say HOT PISS weeble and bob stylee

used to say SMEG too - not so much anymore

'you barstool!' is a favorite. me and a friend invented 'foon' after his mum got drunk and someone asked her for a spork... she yelled 'its a spoon alright!'

hehe.

The only one I do use is 'feck'.
But maybe using made-up swear words is more creative than throwing out the same old four letters all the time.
Just saying...

I only do it around authority figures, because despite my belief that the only bad words are racial slurs and that "Curse Words" are just synonyms, teachers start bitching and whining whenever I use 'em.

I have a tendency to say Bi-Atch instead of ***** (a word I usually use to insult male friends of mine for the sake of comic relief) due to a typo on YouTube I found strangely hilarious.
Another thing I use frequently is in my native language, Danish. Basically I say "Bandit" instead of ass "Ass". That is because the Danish equivalent of ass would be "Røv" and bandit in Danish is "Røver", so the immediate difference is little.

I know chikuso means fuck, damn or shit, but what does Shibata mean?

As far as I was aware it is just a name, like MMA fighter Katsuyori Shibata or like the general in Samurai Warriors, Katsuie Shibata.

So it's also a swear word as well as a surname? There are people in Japan with names that are the equivalent of David **** or Peter Bollocks?

Smeg, and all variations thereof.

I also like calling people Gommorites. The reason you've heard of sodomy but not gommorahy is because gommorahy is so terrible no one who knows what it is wants to explain it.

With Japanese, context is often more important than the words themselves. Chikuso is a good example of this as it could mean anything from fuck and shit to crap and darn. It all depends on how use use and pronounce it.
