The technology of the Fallout universe could easily apply anywhere. The game technology is pretty much a mix of current sci-fi ideas, with retro sci-fi ideas. It's the feel of the games that would suffer taking place outside of the US. The nationalistic feel, of the pre-war society, and the look and feel of the current destroyed 50s era decor. The world has always felt like taking the 50s US culture and view of the world and it's future, then dropping a ton of bombs on it.GamesB2 said:I find Fallout to be a very American series... yes you could spin a title set in England but I doubt it would have the same charm, it would be too different IMO.
I think if we never get a Fallout game outside of America we won't be missing much.
You would have to remove the entire feel of the game if it was based out side of the US, it just wouldn't be a fallout game in that case.
