Funniest:
- Finding Indiana Jones' corpse in a refrigerator.
- Finding the UFO and getting the Captain's Alien Blaster
- Launching the REPCONN rockets with "Ride of the Valkyries" blasting out in the background.
- Refusing to hand over my weapons at The Tops and killing every last one of the Chairmen in the ensuing firefight.
- Bursting into Silver Rush, crashing the Van Graffs' meeting and killing everyone. It took me fucking ages to get back to the Lucky 38 because I was overencumbered from all the shiny lewtz I stole from there.
- When the Boomers opened up on the Hoover Dam. That would probably have been a lot tougher without heavy artillery and air support!
- Turning my Securitron Army on the NCR Troops at the end ("Oh yeah? Then you're gonna LOVE what happens next!"; best piece of dialogue in the entire game!)
- Finding a flame thrower in Vault 22(?). No problems with those nasty little green bastards after that, I just torched every clump of plants I came across before they could get to their feet.
- Finding and reading the 3 bits of "Die-ary" in the shack on the Nuclear Test Facility.
- And loads more that I can't think of right now.
Scariest:
- Vault 22 before finding the flame thrower.
- The vault full of Ghouls (34?)
- The REPCONN factory full of Ghouls and Nightkin
- Seeing a Nightkin for the first time, doing the side quest at Novac where you stake out the Brahmin herd to find out who is killing them. (It went *rustle rustle*...*laser blast from the darkness*...I fire blindly at the source, and then, well if you're reading this now in January you probably know how *ahem* startling your first Nightkin attack can be...)
- Finding the Deathclaw quarry. The only two things that saved me were having Boone on hand, and stumbling upon it from the south, putting us on the high ground. Oh, and having the Gauss rifle.
- The sacrifice chamber in Vault 11(?). With hindsight, going down there was dumb as fuck.
- Making my way around the south west corner of the map (past the crashed aircraft) when about 10 Radscorpions come charging out of the dust. At least 3 of them were Giant Radscorpions. Oops...
- Being zerg-rushed by Ghouls near the old Nuclear Test Facility. The "Splash Damage" perk came into its own there.
- Probably others but it's 5.30 am and I've been up half the night with a spewing (now sleeping) 8 year old...
I enjoyed every second of this game and fully intend to play through it again to see various different endings etc, and can't wait for the DLC to hit the PS3!
