S'alright by my book.

This way instead of both the PC and 360 getting screwed by broken DLC, its just the 360. While the rest of us will get the non-broken versions after they fix everything.

Plus I have mods, so yeah.
Ummm... it's the Bethesda engine. It will not be fixed when we get it.

I see it as just more fanboy fuel. I know competition is good for our industry but when companies can successfully play off the emotions of these kinds of people it's just plain annoying.

It always sucks when the developers and publishers themselves try to split up the gaming community. I'm a 360 guy, but not particularly happy about this.

Do you honestly believe that, this is bethesda were talking about. The ps3 dlc came out atleast a year after the 360 for fallout 3 and it had exactly the same bugs and a few extra ones. I fully expect it to be exactly the same this time as well.

The modders will know what to look for, resulting in quicker fixes.

As pc/ps3 gamer I'm disappointed that bethesda has gone down this road again with dlc. M$ money must be alot better than regular peoples money ;)

Did they really give a reason why it was going exclusive to the 360?
The most logical explanation involves a dump truck of money and a polite request from Microsoft. ;)

Everybody else will get it eventually, same as with the last game. Nice thing with waiting is the PS3 people will probably get it all at once, will already have an idea whether or not they want it based on content reviews and will (hopefully) not have any snafu situations like when The Pitt was first released practically unplayable. I guess that's a little silver lining.

Still, my 360 and I are very happy we don't have to wait.

They're talking about releasing DLC a day before launch? Guess they just want to jump right on it this time. I am a PS3 owner and I don't see why they have to go all exclusive again. If it's all about money (which it is) then you would think just selling it to one group of people instead selling it to all 3 (3 times the money) would not be as profitable.

Woah, where is the PC love? You know, the way you played the first 2 (3 if you want to count...that thing)?

(Ok, so I actually read the article where it simply says x-box will get it first. That doesn't seem like such a big deal to me. )

I feel bad on behalf of those getting the game on the PS3.
I'll be getting it on the 360, simply because I spent so much time playing Fallout 3 on the 360, that to wander the wasteland with anything other than a 360 controler would just feel wierd.

I hope the time between the dlc being released on the 360 and when it inevitably reaches the PS3 is shorter than it was with the Fallout 3 dlc.

I don't get it.

How could a gaming company, who's sole business goals are to sell as many of their games as possible, choose to ONLY sell to Xbox for their products, when they could just simply release it everywhere all at once, and make that much more.

Does Microsoft really pay them That much for the rights? Or is Bethesda just tangled up in the after-effects of some BS contract? Basically, Bethesda/Obsidian can't reap 100% of the rewards from their ad campaigning and they essentially have to wait until Vegas isn't on radar anymore to sell DLC to PC & PS3.

What kind of business would even do this, honestly.

I think it was a nice thing to do for the Xbox fans. I doubt I will get Fallout right away but it is a nice gesture.

It makes absolutely no difference to me. If I end up wanting it at some point, I'm sure it will be released for the PC at some point (considering it literally takes about a week to convert a game between PC and 360). And even if it doesn't, I'll just survive without.

Pff DLC enjoy your Amateur hour stuff give us a week with the toolkit and 3DS Max the bethesda guys will be put to shame.
So far with the exception of questlines user-generated content has been better anything Bethesda has come up with. And I only except questlines because I have yet to download a Work In Progress questline and can't be bothered to obsessively check up on them when I have a significant backlog of games to attend to.

Nice to check in now and then the guys at TES nexus have done some really awsome stuff be it new buildings, towns, to total conversions you'll find more fresh ideas, love, dedication and innovation in the modding commuity than any dev could hope to acheive I find.

OT: anyone know approx what time the game unlocks on steam for play? (EST)

I don't really mind as long as the PC gets it eventually.
