Missing PC here. Therefore poll is invalid.
"What pisses me off is that MS isn't covering the PC players."
Thank you for getting that for me. Awesome name too: Electro Gypsy. Brings to mind a lot of weird images: like what caravans must look like in the Tron universe.

I wouldn't be so surprised by the comment if it wasn't the (currently) highest voted selection.
I had a good idea that people don't read every selection in my polls (I use every space with wordy selections) but I thought the highest voted one might get some attention.

I actually don't understand why. The pc players will probably be able to play the dlc for free a couple of days after it hits xbla... not that they should.
Yeah, Microsoft and Obsidan/ Bethesda may as well do their best to make money, being businesses and all.

Also, lmao yeah it's almost as though people aren't trying to read

i bought fallout 3 on my ps3 because considering the size of the game i thought that was the best way to go. however i missed out on the dlc for so long that when it came out i didnt get any of it because it came out all at once instead of one at a time and i wasnt going to choose or spend that much money at once on expansions for a game i already finished several times a year ago. so that being said i kinda saw this coming so thats why im playing new vegas on my 360. yay for being right!!!

it kinda bugs me since im kinda short on money and i dont like working or spending it and a bonus disk thing would most definatley make the game cost more.

And all Obsidian has done is release incomplete awful games so Bethesda was taking a gamble getting them to make F:NV anyways, might as well be sure of at least making some money off the game from getting paid by M$.
Most of the people at Obsidan worked on Fallout 1 and 2, which were amasing and easily the best out of 1, 2 and 3, hence me being slightly hyped about New Vegas
Oh I know. I even preordered F:NV(Collectors Edition), and love it. But if this company has a bad reputation then they possibly could barely make any money. People never learn their lessons though, so it's a commercial success.

The bugs are completely awful though.

This is a good time to have a xbox 360.

In fact, it's always a good time to have an xbox 360.

I absolutely love Delicious Lemon Cakes. Not sure why only 360 users get it though. Seems weird to pigeon hole cake eaters onto one platform.
Now hold, on... Sony has had their share of the cake eating market.

Remember MGS3: Cake Eater?

why do people think that Microsoft gave them mofe money for earlier DLC. maybe Bethesda wanted it made for 360 but Microsoft wouldnt let them do iy, unless they gat early DLC. face it, if Sony did this it would all be about how "Sont pays them more for early DLC.
Why the hate? its a game. a game is a Want, not a Need. you Want it, but dont Need it to live your life.

Tbf on Obsidan, I doubt that all the bugs are their fault. I love Fallout 3, don'tget me wrong, it's ace, but cos Bethesda were too lazy to either 1) fix the flawed Oblivion Engine or 2) make a new engine that can actually run for 15 mins without crashing, it's full of bugs. So since New Vegas uses that engine, many of the bugs and instability will be passed over :(

I've got both a PS3 and 360 and will probably be getting F NV for the PS3. More bothered about bugs to be honest, but I can understand peoples irritation specifically about not announcing this some months ago.

I have a 360 but I'm going to play the game on PC. On the one hand, I'm annoyed that I won't get DLC. On the other, I'm reassured that I'll at least get to sift through tens of thousands of user created mods of varying quality!

That is true, but Obsidian obviously didn't do any bug test playthroughs due to the large amount of game-breaking and regularly occurring bugs in the game.

I am getting the 360 version and so I am happy that I can get it.

I think it's a dickish move though to be honest. It's not like anyone with the PS3 version is going to jump up and suddenly buy a 360 for it so I don't see why they'd do it, especially at short notice.

I am more annoyed that those in the US get it tomorrow whereas Europe gets it Friday. The reason being that my days off of work are Wednesday and Thursday, so tomorrow is basically my "Friday".
If someone has both a PS3 and a 360, the exclusive DLC might be enough to convince them to buy it for the 360 and not the PS3. Since Microsoft gets a portion of all the games sold for it's platform, and since New Vegas is a major multiplatform release, it seems sensible enough. So long as they didn't wave around too much money of course.

Yeah, it does sound like they didn't do any open or even closed beta testing and that won't help things much.

The Eurogamer [http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010-10-18-ps3-denied-fallout-nv-dlc-for-now] article suggests it's a timed exclusive, like the Fallout 3 DLCs (apparently).
The news feature here on the Escapist said it was a limited time only exclusive as well.

Sucks most to be the PS3 players as at least the PC version has or at least will have a massive amount of mods to add to the fun. For Fallout 3 we had new quests, new companions, weapon mod kits, iron sights, hardcore mode and lots of cool new weapons.
