Poll: Fallout NV - exclusive dlc again.

Pff DLC enjoy your Amateur hour stuff give us a week with the toolkit and 3DS Max the bethesda guys will be put to shame.

So far with the exception of questlines user-generated content has been better anything Bethesda has come up with. And I only except questlines because I have yet to download a Work In Progress questline and can't be bothered to obsessively check up on them when I have a significant backlog of games to attend to.

Nice to check in now and then the guys at TES nexus have done some really awsome stuff be it new buildings, towns, to total conversions you'll find more fresh ideas, love, dedication and innovation in the modding commuity than any dev could hope to acheive I find.

Oh I know, I have more Gigs dedicated to mods than the entire vanilla game and all DLC combined.
I browse every so often but between pursuing my degree and work I have little enough time to devote to the games I have yet to play as it is.

And all Obsidian has done is release incomplete awful games so Bethesda was taking a gamble getting them to make F:NV anyways, might as well be sure of at least making some money off the game from getting paid by M$.

A big part of that is that the modding communities for games like Morrowind, Oblivion and Fallout 3 are, compared to most other modding communities, FUCKING HUGE and very active. The size makes for a lot more gems (and a hell of a lot more shit) and the activeness means a lot of the sorting of gems from shit is already done for you, which is nice.

The modding community will eventually add it to the PC version, you can bet your money on that.

I don't know why they didn't do it to the PS3 but they didn't do it to the pc because of the mods. besides this probably only gonna be temporary.

I have a 360 and plan to play the game on that system, but I still don't think this is a solid idea. I don't like it when either platform gets exclusive DLC.

I always buy multiplatform titles on Xbox and I can' stand it when Sony gets an exclusive DLC. So I'm not going to be a hypocrite now and cheer when my platform of choice is pulling the same boner move. And it's just poor PR of them to keep this secret until the day before the title drops.

Bethesda is making the DLC because they want more money. it has nothing to do with game quality. obsidian refused to sell out, so Bethesda is selling out themselves.

if they wanted more money, why wouldn't they be making the dlc for all platforms?

I am waiting for it to unlock now. I am not super concerned about it though, mods will keep me happy till the DLC gets ported over.
