On topic: If I had to choose one it would be alternative.

I love most music, but I'd have to go with Metal if only because it turned around my opinion of music (all we had on the radio when I was growing up was country, pop, and light rock, meaning I thought I hated music itself). Also, I'm one of the few people that likes most types of metal too (and no I'm not one of those "This isn't true metal" trolls. There are subcategories for a reason).

OT: Power Metal comes under Metal so Metal it is.

From your reply and the previous one I got, I surmise that Alternative is just a subgenre of Rock.

If that's the case, I'm slightly confused why it's listed separately from Rock...

I like pretty much everything except for Heavy Metal (and all those Metal genres that are basically Heavy Metal with a twist) and experimental jazz (incoherent, head aching noise is not good music!)

I was a bit surprised to see you hadn't included the blues in your little list, yet Alternative (which isn't really a genre as a subgenre) is.

I mainly like gangsta rap, pop, emocore and metalcore.

My favourite bands are the Jonas Brothers, Slipknot, Lil Wayne, Taking Back Sunday and Lady Gaga.
I also occasionally listen to Nazi Germany anthems and racist skinhead music.
