John Kramer is my favorite. He is human and a lot of us could sympathies more with him than those he tries to save.

Seems like a lot of people like the SAW series.

It always seemed a bit gimmicky to me, but I don't know.

Are they worth watching?

I'd recommend the first one, the third if you have a strong enough stomach, but I'd pass on the others.
Thanks, I'll give it a shot

Sadaku.
That shit coming out the tv.

Would still be preferable to Big Brother, actually.

Dracula, and Pinhead (I love Hellraiser..."We'll tear your soul apart."
Was quite suprised to see Doug Bradley in an insurance advert in the UK though...
I remember that. Guess he wanted to try new things. Really stretch himself...

I personally loathe them. They more or less sacrifice plot and decent characters for a twist ending and drawn-out "oh-my-god-he's-going-to-die-but-then-he-didn't" scenes.
I guess interesting characters isn't really a stable of horror though. I just really don't like them. It always felt to me that the makers of Saw watched Cube and thought "hey... you know what would be cool? If we ditched all the characters and added more gore!"

Oh, favorite villain... well, I have a weakness for vampires.

Personally, Jigsaw from the Saw series. Most horror movie baddies are unstoppible hulking bahemoths who can stand up to any and everything thrown at them. Jigsaw is an old, frale dude dieing of cancer.

I also love how he human he is. In fact, in a deleted scene from Saw 3, he actually starts crying because he realises that no-one will see him as a savior, just a killer.
I don't remember that... And i had the extreme edition and watched every thin'. Could you perhaps throw me a link?

From Pinhead to P.E. Teacher.
Oh, and he lends his vocal talents to the ridiculous Dominator. It's also got Dani Filth in it. 0.o

Jason Vorhees. He is everything that a horror movie villain should be. Immortal, relentless, and simple. If you run into him, you either die or manage to get away, but he will try to kill you. Jasson embodies that fear we get whenever we are in the wilderness in the first seven movies.

He was the reason why I never went to summer camp.

I also like Freddy Kreugar. While Jason is just a killer, Freddy is a tormentor. He killed people, but only after he perverted their nightmares. Freddy was the fear of not waking up.

I chose Jason.

Leatherface, for 1 simple reason.

The character is based on a truely horrifying man who is probably the sickest guy in history (Ed Gein)

Definitely Dracula, though that's probably largely from having read the novel, either way I just find him a very compelling character

Jason. He lasted 10 sequels and counting without getting killed. Now that rules.
I didnt chose Hannibal because Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon and Hannibal were more thriller than horror.

Was a close one for me between Freddie and Jason as well, but eventually I went for Jason because who doesn't love a machete wielding, hockey mask clad, near invincible psychopath that misses his mam?

Evil Genius from Time Bandits

Hands down the most memorable character I've ever seen in my life.

If you've never seen it, watch this clip.

Now tell me you don't agree.

Other - The crazy woman in Misery, (Annie Wilkes). She acts like I picture a fanboy would, if it got ahold of the Gamegod.
