While the Turrians are okay, the only characters out of their species I ever enjoyed were Garrus (This goes double for the second game, where he's diffidently become more sober and down-to-earth in the two years he's been around the galaxy) and Executor Pallin, minor character as he was.

Salarians are probably my favorite, just because their personalities seem so diverse, as well as the fact that they seem so frail and still manage to pack a punch (just look what they did to the Krogans.) and I might as well just go out and say it while I'm busy favoring Salarians...

Quarians, i love em. granted they are the Gypsys of the galaxy but they live for their people with everything they do being for the greater good... FOR THE GREATER GOOD!!!!

Turians, they're to Mass Effect as the Elites are to Halo.

That is to say, utterly awesome as a whole.

Indeed, i always felt they shared the same honourable warrior mentality. The Turians treat prisoners with respect and the elites had a tradition of accepting the best of a defeated foe into their ranks. (Humans notwithstanding because apparently we all just need to die...)

The krogans was pritty awsome not very smart though but i geusses they think that thinking just gets in the way of the fighting lol
