Okay then, but why so?
Because he added a depth to the character that I enjoyed. I don't like the acting style nor the look of the new guy. Not to mention how fucking annoying the girl is, but that's irrelevant. I remember liking the Ninth at the time, but he wasn't anything special.
I really dislike how the new one tends to wave the sonic screwdriver at everything. Not a fault of the actor, rather one of the script, but it makes The Doctor look retarded most of the time.

I'm a bit wary of Matt Smith. Though that may be more to do with the writers than the acting... The episodes just don't seem as well contained as they used to.

As the Doctor said once: "Don't diss the sonic!"
... But yeah, it is kind of reduntant.

Tenth definitely. I loved the manic energy he had, although that may have been the scripts more than the character. Plus the amount of facial expressions was mind boggling.

I don't really have an opinion on Nine, Eleven is alright, but Tennant is waaaaay out of his league.

I have much respect for the sonic screwdriver. Think Geek has my money to prove it. He just doesn't need to wave it at everything. Locked door? Yes. Machinery? Yes. aliens? Not so much, no. Monsters? No. The wall? No. People? no.
At least one thing is always constant. It can effectively do anything, except save the girl.

The Eleventh is my favourite, closely followed by 9. I dunno, there was something about Ten that put me off, he seemed a bit too pompous for my liking.

Too much like 4, really.

I have to admit that I'm still fairly new to DW, although I've watched most of Ten and Eleven's respective series. I'd have to say it's mostly a toss-up, although I consider Eleven my first Doctor, so I voted for him.

I have to say Eleven. I just started watching Doctor Who this season so he was my first doctor. However, I have found reruns of the Tenth doctor and he's a close second.

I like 9. He was just so cool... and kind of violent and he had that totally awesome jacket.

This was a good one too...

Number four I do believe. Most of the Who fans of America don't know him though. I'm one of the few...

Ahhh Mr. Baker grovles on floor at feet "We are not worthy" The best doctor in my mind. Tennant is the only modern one who comes any where near the par of the originals.

WHY DOES HE SUDDENLY NOT KNOW ANYTHING AT ALL?!
The same way that 6th was violent and the only one able to fix the Chameleon Circuit, 1 had a gammy leg, 2 could play the flute, 3 knew Kara-tay, 4 ...well, just was 4, 5 was weaker, 7 was darker, 8 was half human and 9 was Northern.

Most people are a sum of their memories. Timelords even more so.

They're all still blokes. Now, if we had a female Doctor... ;)
