Sorry, I'm hungry today, can't get my mind off of food toppings.

What is your favorite use for maple syrup?

I would ask your favorite grade... but most of you wouldn't know what i mean.

Edit: Actually, feel free to post a favorite grade Can(US). Do you prefer a Light(or extra light) (AA), Light amber (A), Medium Amber (A), Dark Amber (A/B), Amber (B/C) or Dark (D)

I prefer a light or medium amber, a richer more caramely flavour than light.

It has a similar use to whip cream for me. It is very unwholesome and I shall not go into details.

Pancakes coated with maple syrup are telepathically compelling me to vote pancakes. I don't do anything else with it anyway.

I personally prefer to use it on pancakes, waffles and french toast.

PS, I love all aspects of Maple syrup, but my top 3 are:
1. For use in coating/marinading/glazing meats, (specifically white meats, Pork, Chicken or (being thanksgiving) Turkey)

2. For making maple pops but pouring it into snow.

3. For use in everything else as a flavourant. (especially smoothies, oatmeal and, of course french toast/pancakes)
