Serious Sam 3 is probably the only FPS I'll buy in the near future.
The only one on that list that has my interest piqued is Duke Nukem: Forever. Mainly because I played Duke 2 when it came out, Duke 3D when it came out, and it's been a running joke for most of my sentient life. I'll try the demo first though, because Duke 3D was decent, but it never held up to Doom, Quake or Blood in my mind. The fact that they switched to regenerating health (I don't care if they call it ego, it's fucking health) and what appears to be a two weapons at a time system makes me nervous. I loved carrying 10 obscenely powerful and at times utterly useless weapons, and having to be careful and ration my med kits.
As for Rage, after Quake 2, Quake 3, and Doom 3, which I had been waiting for since Doom 2, I'm not giving Id the benefit of the doubt. I love Doom and Quake to death, but they've burned me too many times. Burn me once, shame on Quake 2, burn me not twice but thrice, shame on me.
