Yes. With that money I could dedicate my time to other things. I'd make a real audiophile of myself. I'd get an expensive soundcard, a pair of Sennheiser HD800 headphones, a nice headphone amp, and plenty of music. I could also get into a better college, because at the moment I'm set to go to Towson, which is pretty average, though I am accepted to Drexel, because I'm about $40,000 short.

I've seen some people say 1 Million wouldn't last a lifetime. If the average job pays £18,000 a year and you work from when you are 18 you will only earn 846,000 over the course of your life.

Now say you take the million, stick it in the bank in an account with lets say 3%, you would get 30,000 a year just in interest alone. So with a nice 1 Mil in the bank you then live off a middle class income for doing absolutely sod all? I would give up games in order to do that absolutely.

Yeah, definitely.

I love gaming, but there's a lot more to life. I can think of SO many things i'd do with that much money.

And there are always films and literature to fall back on in old age.

I concur.

Seems like a bit of a no-brainer tbh. Especially when put like this.

yes I would invent something similar to video games but call it something else and still have half/quarter of a million

That's 1.5 million in American dollars. Yeah I could do that, put it in an interest account, get 50K each year, I could survive on that pretty easily (and not have to work).

Of course a million doesn't go as far as it used to.

Nope, it has helped define who I am, to turn my back on video games would be to turn my back on myself.
You mean like deciding to become a gigolo or something?
I have no idea what you mean by that.
