Are you kidding me? Nearly every news outlet out there is run by a massive international corporation. Corporations are by their very nature conservative.Genesis_Man said:Ninja'd
thanks for saying that so i didnt have too.
Every news outlet has a bias of some form or another...Fox just happens to be one for the few that happen to be conservative.
..Holy fuck. Doesn't leave a lot of room for anything else in terms of media, does he? Bastard.The_root_of_all_evil said:The problem is when nearly every channel is owned by the same evil old man.

You don't think that's slightly scary that one man owns that many areas, and can report in any way he likes; because - who's gonna stop him?
Hold on a second, I think he actually touched on a bit of sense in the first video (the shock from hearing it required my girlfriend to administer an emergency tracheotomy with a pen since I swallowed my own tongue). He said that being an atheist requires just as much of a stretch as being a believer and personally I think he is right (nearly). There is absolutely no irrefutable evidence that a god, in one form or another, does not exist. Now I know there are virtually mountains of evidence poking holes all current faiths, but that doesn't mean there is no god. Being an atheist is a belief based on no hard evidence. It's just unscientific.SantoUno said:Oh, my fucking god.Woodsey said:Here are the O'Reilly comments too:
How the hell is that level of stupidity even allowed to be a known news reporter?
I just listened to an old man acting like a fucking child, quickly spouting out questions he know no one can answer, and some that actually do have an answer, and he's calling his critics pinheads?
I had a hard facepalm moment when I viewed the video.
As for my opinion on Fox News, I will never consider them an actual news corporation due to the fact that most of their "reporters" are ignorant, misinformed, childish conservatives who just make up news stories that are clearly intended to spark controversy.
I think he may be the actual Shadow Broker. Play the Mass Effect 2 DLC and have a look, I just did and they even look similar. I sense dark times ahead.ShadowsofHope said:..Holy fuck. You don't think that's slightly scary that one man owns that many areas, and can report in any way he likes; because - who's gonna stop him?
OT: I just don't listen to televised media, save local news. Local news tends to be safer, and less full of your standard BS. As towards Faux News.. I hate it and MSNBC. Both give me nothing productive, and only a raised blood pressure.
And that doesn't scare you?? Besides, if they, through cleverness, spread stupidity, then they are stupid. Do you see my logic?GeorgW said:Bill O'Reilly doesn't believe a word he's saying; he's a smart guy. He's just doing it to trick people. The people at Fox News have one task, and that is to control those who watch it and to form their opinions for them.
Stop raging about Fox News' supposed ignorance and stupidity; they know what they're doing. And they're GOOD at it.
Because, like Limbaugh, he is a fat bastard trying to tell you how to live your life.Raiyan 1.0 said:Out of pure non-confrontational curiosity, why do people hate Michael Moore?Jatal Khyron said:For every Rush Limbaugh, there is a Michael Moore.
Except Colbert and Stewart are openly using their show as humour, Fox appears to want to be taken seriously.SuperChurl said:Fox News is the right wing equivalent of the Daily Show/Colbert Report. It's no less biased and no more accurate. It isn't real news, it's entertainment--or at very best, infotainment. Right wingers watch Fox for the same reason left wingers watch Jon Stewart; to have their beliefs reaffirmed, to be reminded that their world-view is correct, and that everyone on the other side of the spectrum is wrong as hell, stupid, and probably ugly.
