For every Rush Limbaugh, there is a Michael Moore.
Out of pure non-confrontational curiosity, why do people hate Michael Moore?
same reason they hate fox news just on the other end of the spectrum but he is on my list as the lowest form of human life on this planet
I asked for clarification, not opinion.

FOX News is nowhere near as bad as its leftard equivalents, CNN and MSNBC.
CNN is as centrist as you can get in the US, if only because they have equal helpings of left and right-wing contributors. The only thing is, some times it's hard to tell which is which. Essentially, what makes them neutral is also what makes them unwatchable.

he normally twist facts around to make them agree with what hes saying
alot of what he puts in his movies are just blatant lies
his own film crew stated that he was a big fat idiot and that he was very difficult to work with

Given their venomous bias towards anything and their obvious enjoyment in causing public outcry and infighting, Fox News can fuck off. Fox news exists only to create panic in the masses, as in the people that are guillible and will take anything Fox news as fact, even if it is completely made up (ie the recent news story that Bullet storm is directly capable for an increase in sexual assualt/rape, when the FBI figures actually show a decline), any news station that makes up stuff like that doesnt deserve to be aired, let alone believed, it's run by a bunch of fear monging nutjobs that hate anything that doesnt conform to their way of thinking.

In short they're republican

in long they're the republicans the republicans elected to represent them... which saddens me... especially when they try and preach Christianity like it's a fact

In defense of Michael Moore the guy is just using the same tactics as his 'enemies'. He does twist facts and misrepresent them, which makes for inaccurate journalism, but he is entirely reactionary.
However I don't endorse him in doing so. You can't fight bad journalism with more bad journalism, it defeats the point entirely and does nothing to solve the issue. He does more harm than good.

At the risk of sounding rhetorical; I seriously dislike them and what they do, but I would never want to stop them from doing it. Freedom of Speech is what makes the world great, even though if they had it their way Freedom of Speech would be a thing of the past.

For the love of Jebus, thank you. This is pretty much my stance on Fox News. It's so refreshing to see the few posts like this which aren't lined to the brim references to Nazis and Satan. I can also do without the "Faux News" schtick (oh, how cute; it's funny because it's a pun using the French word for "false;" grow the fuck up).

As far as the opinion-based shows go (Hannity, Beck, O'Reilly, etc.), your mileage may vary, and understandably so, but as far as the strictly-news programs go, it isn't bad. Fuck, I'd go so far as to say that from what I've seen, its business-centered shows are actually good. And Red Eye is damn ddicting in a way I can't seem to describe.

Also, screw Media Matters.

I'm done.

Here are the O'Reilly comments too:

Oh, my fucking god.

How the hell is that level of stupidity even allowed to be a known news reporter?

I just listened to an old man acting like a fucking child, quickly spouting out questions he know no one can answer, and some that actually do have an answer, and he's calling his critics pinheads?

I had a hard facepalm moment when I viewed the video.

As for my opinion on Fox News, I will never consider them an actual news corporation due to the fact that most of their "reporters" are ignorant, misinformed, childish conservatives who just make up news stories that are clearly intended to spark controversy.

Just because of this, I'll splice a clip of Bill o'Reilly being a dipshit with a clip of Antoine Dodson saying "You are so DUMB; You are REALLY DUMMB, fo REAL."

Ugh... I can take biased places like MSNBC. What I can't take is lying to front that bias. Anyone can share their opinions but to deliberately lie to make their opinion seem better... that's inexcuseable.

I mean there are hundreds of examples already of Fox news being called out on it. Other networks make a mistake here and there but they apologise and feel bad about looking unprofessional. And fox... well you know where this is going.

My thoughts?

Well, I've seen Glenn Beck tell a woman that euthanasia is where the government elects to kill you if you're too much of a financial burden, and I've seen Bill O'Reilly categorically state that Stephen Hawking (he actually kept calling him Hawkings) has no explanation for the moon or the tides.

Their biggest and "best" are a bunch of manipulative morons (or geniuses, depending on how you look at it) who receive viewing figures they probably sold their souls to the devil for.

Glenn Beck even blames the Jews for Jesus' death for fuck's sake.

Don't even get me started on that fucking chalk board of his.
He is kind of crazy, but what do you have against the chalk board?

Anyone ever see the film Out Foxed. It lays out a pretty good arguement but it is a left-wing biased film, it also presents a good case as to why the movie bob was wrong when talking about how their doesent need to be (law escapes my mind) where you must present both sides of the arguement to the audeince. I dont hate Fox News though infortmation is cheaper and easier to acess then it has ever been if people chose to watch it that is thier choice. Most newscasts now are becoming slowly more like fox though, why because Fox News is a buisness it wants to make money and people like their... lets call it edgy style of reporting and as time goes on youll find more and more news stations like CNN and NBC becoming more like fox to gain a larger share of the profit so really you cant blame them for giving people what they want if people want highly biased enterataing news let them have it though hopefully they will chose to see all sides of the arguement themselves.

...and Michael Eisner owned ABC. What's your point? Every news channel is owned by evil old men.

Personally I think that FOX stands out like a sore thumb, because the rest of the media has been liberal for quite awhile. Maybe not as blatantly as Fox's bias. But it's still bias.
