Only noobs own a PS3 and don't use these snap on concave triggers:
The wider frontal area overall makes them slightly superior to the 360 triggers for control. It also means when you you put down the PS3 controller on a table you are less likely to activate the L2 or R2 triggers.
No idea of how to implement concave tops for the analogue sticks so 360 retains the edge in that area.
I've got them, the Gioteck ones. Anyway, flaws for consoles:
Wii: None (haven't played one, so I can't fault it.)
Xbox 360: (Played at friend's house) Have to pay for online multiplayer, the D-pad is screwed up. (Can't fix this as far as I know!)
PS3: Online isn't as developed as 360, the triggers are hard to use. (However, getting the trigger things above kills this problem.)
PC: Needs regular upgrading (graphics, video and sound cards, can be a little pricy.
I'd personally go for a PS3, but that's because I've only got a PS3. FPS's use triggers and D-pads, and while Xbox has better triggers, the PS3 controller can be fixed and the D-pad can't. Plus, you've got sixaxis for cover and such in FPS's which is pretty cool.
