PS3- Lousy Trigger
Only noobs own a PS3 and don't use these snap on concave triggers:

The wider frontal area overall makes them slightly superior to the 360 triggers for control. It also means when you you put down the PS3 controller on a table you are less likely to activate the L2 or R2 triggers.

No idea of how to implement concave tops for the analogue sticks so 360 retains the edge in that area.
if forgot how much i like to pay extra for my controller to be worth using in the 1st place

They cost less than $4/£3. What's the big deal? Every console is incomplete out of the box and has a list of recommended extras like video cables, hard-drives, peripherals, adaptors.

To keep things in perspective; how much does it cost to keep feeding the Wireless 360 controller with AA batteries?

Sure there is the Play-Charge pack, USB-adaptor or Wired Controller but any one of those cost more than those simple snap-on triggers while charging even while playing is not a problem for six-axis/dualshock3 as who the hell doesn't have a mini-USB cable in their house?

Why the hell am I defending PS3? Overall I prefer 360's gamepad and I've actually been using a Wired Xbox 360 gamepad for certain PC games long before I got my Xbox 360. It fills the hands a lot better. Yet I hate the Wireless Xbox 360 gamepad due to that massive battery block on the bottom that totally screws up the ergonomic and of course AA batteries are not cheap or it's a pain in the arse to juggle rechargeable AA batteries.

And PS3 is hardly the worst console for "having to pay extra to get expected features"

*cough*online-multiplayer*cough*

I wonder if I will even bother renewing my XBL Gold membership...

Meh, I'd probably just play it on PS3 with my modded 360 controller. Yes, the PS3 controller sucks. However, I strongly prefer the PS3's graphics - though the newest 360 hardware is slowly changing my mind.

I've got them, the Gioteck ones. Anyway, flaws for consoles:
Wii: None (haven't played one, so I can't fault it.)
Xbox 360: (Played at friend's house) Have to pay for online multiplayer, the D-pad is screwed up. (Can't fix this as far as I know!)
PS3: Online isn't as developed as 360, the triggers are hard to use. (However, getting the trigger things above kills this problem.)
PC: Needs regular upgrading (graphics, video and sound cards, can be a little pricy.
I'd personally go for a PS3, but that's because I've only got a PS3. FPS's use triggers and D-pads, and while Xbox has better triggers, the PS3 controller can be fixed and the D-pad can't. Plus, you've got sixaxis for cover and such in FPS's which is pretty cool.

Xbox 360, the controller feels more comfortable, more heavy, and more natural IMO, also the 360 has some awesome online services, well worth $50 a year I'd say.

I happen to like the PS3 controller better. I don't like having to use the triggers for some games on PS3, but alot of games use R1 instead of R2 to shoot, which I like better than the 360 triggers anyways.

I never did like the 360 controller.

Plus, PS3 online is free and not nearly as bad as most people say.

I don't mind playing 360 though, it's still a very good system.

Wow, this is some serious flame bait right here.

OT: I'm quite partial to PS3 and 360, but Wii has good qualities too.

Probably the 360. I played Modern Warfare 2 at afriends house on the PS3 and found the triggers hard to get used to. they don't feel ike trigger, they feel like buttons, and the 360's triggers feel like actual triggers.
