Dude, guns aren't cool...fistfights are the way to go my friend.
can't bring a fist to a gunfight... it gets shot full of more holes than swiss cheese.
But don´t bring a gun to a knife fight.Everyone will gang up on you.And trust there aren't enough bullets in that gun.

I have to ask: did your finger slip while you were typing the title, or was that intentional?

It is ridiculous that you can buy an assault weapon in the U.S. No amount of deer hunting requires armor piercing rounds and a muzzle velocity of 3,200 ft/s.
Uhhhh....
We can't buy assault weapons in the U.S.
Technically, yes. I know for a fact that in Texas, you can go into a pawn shop, buy a gun that is the equivalent of an M16, and then turn it fully automatic with some light modifications.
Yes, you can buy an AR16. But that's not an assault weapon, it is not equivalent to an M16, and cannot be made fully automatic with light modifications.

I could also buy a tank in Eastern Europe and ship it piece by piece to the U.S., but that doesn't mean anyone actually does it.

And my knowledge of guns is fairly limited, but wouldn't converting an AR16 into a fully automatic consist of little more than screwing around with the spring on the bolt?

Just because they look like fully automatic assault rifles doesn't mean they are.
And no, of course not.
It's a completely different receiver.

Actually, there are people who restore tanks as a hobby.
That is awesome beyond all words and description.

Well, I'll go ahead and take your word for it.

Like I said: my knowledge concerning firearms is quite limited.

But it burns so fast through the ammo that if you don´t hit everyone your dead.Since the reloading the p99 takes a little time.

A lot of these arguments can be solved with a quick trip to wikipedia you know.

The right to bear arms was misinterpreted. This is what they meant.

And that is how I think it should be implemented. /jk

OT: I agree with TheLoveRat.

Well, I think you can all guess my stance on this.
Or at least which option is closest to my idea.

Also, I want a Tommy Gun. Because who wouldn't want to be able to fire off 850 rounds a minute? Hunting would be hilarious with that. No, really.

Every person has the right to hang bear arms on their wall. How could that be misinterpreted?

Why everything short of a nuke? Why not include the nukes as well. I'd personally love a nuke. Of course you could never use it but it'd be a good centre piece in the lounge. "so what's that?" "oh .. that it's just my nuke, cup of tea?"

You could have a disarmed nuke if you want.

This could be made easier. I feel that there shouldn't be assault weapons, but I also don't think mentally challenged people should get them either (I went with the "no guns for crazies" option).

Now where is the fun in that? I guess I could tell people it was armed. Might creep them out a bit though. I wonder if there is any on ebay....

EDIT. I checked ebay and there are none :(

There is always "People with a criminal record or history of mental illness should be the only ones who cannot have guns"
