White, except in games where the race that gives you the desired benefits is black (my most current character in Morrowind was a Redguard).

In Mass Effect I built myself a badass black Renegade and called him Marcellus. I also played as a white female Paragon. I made her hot at first, tried to go for Angelina Jolie 10 years ago, but she kinda looked ridiculous as the saviour of the universe, so I went for the Captain Janeway look.

Considered an Asian character, but the Asian eye options in ME are really ugly.
I'm a white male myself like - quite unsurprisingly - the majority here :)

In third person games I never get "ooh, that's me"-feeling anyway. The same goes for games with cinematic cutscenes, since I don't usually have out-of-body experiences when talking to people. That's why I love Half Life and other games that have cutscenes happen around you, while leaving you in character. Didn't have problems impersonating a white Asian chick in Mirror's Edge though.

I'll play every option I can if it makes a difference to gameplay. Where it doesn't, I don't give two shits. Of course, I've never played a game where you get to fiddle around with the sliders and customize your character into the extreme, so maybe I don't belong on this thread.

I am also a racist, but in the nice way.
WAT.

There is something quite wrong with that statement.
Well I used to think I was quite open minded, the love of my life has different skin colour to me, and a good portion of other girls I've been with haven't been my colour. But it's easy to ignore the colour of a girl's skin, cause they're purty.

But the first thing I notice about a person is their race, and I do make a lot of summary judgements based on that.

Plus if any opportunity arises to make racist jokes I take it. I'm not funny enough to pass up the chance for some easy laughs. No-one has hit me for it yet. *touch wood*

I like to do combos of a dark color and red. It just looks cool and gives a nice contrasr.
