No, I hate bad boys. Bad boys usually mean naughty drugs and drinking, I don't do either.
I've been with a bad boy before, he fucked my head up. Never again, thanks.
I'm assuming there are different opinions of what a bad boy is.
This may be a guys perspective but I consider an Alcoholic, Drug addict, Sadist to be more of a waste of life then a "Bad Boy"
Most real life 'bad boys' end up being one of the above.
Haha thats kind of A generalization.

Thats like saying all Guys who play Video Games become Socially awkward, rejects who eventually shoot up there work or school.
True, if we're using a vague physical description as the basis for a bad boy, leather jacket+ cigarette does not equal alcoholic... but from experience, I have yet to meet a 'bad boy' who wasn't a waste of space. But if the perspective is towards the Hollywood bad boy, yes I know many guys who look the look, and they're great peoples.

And with the video game generalization... we're in a gaming forum, I'm pretty sure everyone's had that stigma on them a few times unless you're a girl like meself - then no one actually believes me, or they think I'm going to sleep with them *roll eyes* /No! I'm not going on Vent to prove that I'm a girl/ lol

Hey! I take offence to the idea that anyone with a 'Bad Boy' image is a misogynistic prick who doesn't care for women!
Well, that's my idea of a bad boy. Someone will have to enlighten me what they really are like.

Bad boys don't go for me anyway, like they'd want a fat little geek who games all day :p
Hey I am considered a 'Bad Boy' and I care very deeply for women. I am just an asshole at times. Also I would be interested in someone who games all day ;)

Women often like Bad Boys because they're not afraid to make their own decisions. The rest of us fellas just need to find the balance between Mr. Castrated Nice Guy and Mr. Tough über-douchebag, and we'll be okay. Problem is, most of us are on either extreme.

This poll is fairly misleading. I've observed firsthand that only attractive males are allowed to be jerks and still be found attractive by the opposite sex.

That being said, I do alright as a 'nice' guy.

I think I can agree with this. However, what about the nice guy that isn't creepy and doesn't complain about not having a girlfriend because he knows if he wants one that he is approaching each of his relationships with the opposite sex wrong?
Their time might come. Might not. Nothing is certain. I'd say that part of the problem of Nice Guys (the bad nice guys) is that they haven't realised that nothing is certain if you act in a particular way. the ones you speak of have a better chance.

and to reiterate my edit of my first post in this thread in case it is missed, i just like the colour pink, i'm not actually a girl. why would people think that. bloody social conditioning
Wait, who suggested you were a girl? Also, If nothing is certain then the creepy guy and his spineless ass might just pick up a girl because he is spineless and a girl might shaft him for a bad boy, BECAUSE the other man is abusive. Not because The other man is decisive.

Saying nothing is certain invalidates any advice, because all of it is equally likely to be wrong.

Girls digging bad boys makes no sense to me. The bad boys just use em and abuse em. They get what they want then leave. I don't get why any self respecting girl takes it.

You'd be surprised - I've got some extra pudge on me (body by nintendo), but working in video game stores, or even when I'm shopping around for comics and manga, I got hit on by men I thought were waay out of my league (oh, the ego boosts!). Confidence works both ways... and that's the moral of the story kids!

I think I'm a prime example of a great boyfriend. I have a nice girlfriend and her parents don't mind me. Her siblings think I'm alright and I fit well into her group of friends. We listen to the same music and we have loads in common.

Where is the option for 'nice guy that looks like bad boy and is one when it comes to the bedroom area'. A missed demographic in my opinion, and one I surely would have voted for.

I think the Superman, Batman analogy sums it up pretty well. Superman is the guy that women want to marry, but Batman is the guy that women want to date. Does that help?

Haha. Yeah, I've had a few guys hit on me for some reason and my best boy mate apparently fancies me like mad.
Ugh, I remember when an Asian fellow asked if we wanted to get a hotel room together... Bleurgh.
I'm taken bacon anyway XD

I think this comes down to self confidence, I think when guys see a guy with a little Swagger in his step, and is beaming with self confidence they assume "jackass". This is not true. Self confidence is necessary to having girls be attracted to you. people seem to figure really attractive people will cheat on you, or mistreat you. But look at stats and think logically. I person with low self esteem (no offense but especially girls) take any compliment given to then way to far, thus you have cheating. My Fiancee now is the most gorgeous and self confident woman I've ever been with. She really is beautiful, and I know she wont cheat on me cause when a guy hits on her she doesn't have this sudden feeling of overwhelming happiness. to her its just another guy noticing her. Ive dated girls with little self confidence THEY ARE THE CHEATERS. a guy at a bar tells them their cute and suddenly there so enthralled they jump on this guy. I will personally never date someone with Low Self Esteem again. Men or women its irrelevant, confidence is key.

could have sworn i saw something on the last page. probably read it wrong. just gotta be clear, because it would probably affect how people view my opinions i guess, i don't know

I wouldn't say that nothing being certain invalidates any advice. It's not an absolute thing. Though nothing is certain, there is still correlation between acting in a particular way and having particular responses. Let's say you're a cool guy trying to pick up a girl, it's likely that you'll score, but not definite. If I could put it into numbers, it might be 70% or 80% whatever. There's still the possibility that you won't score.

Of course all this is simplified, so whatever

I can't say Im into the " bad boy" now.. I LOVE a rogue....and I mean a skilled one who understands the art of it... but not really a bad boy. When it comes down to it I rather there be a good heart, and a strong mind, and he has to have a spine, and not be a puss push over, but then again those are the qualities I look for in any gender.

People have done this to me before. I don't mind. It's quite funny actually. Do you have a girlfriend?
