I can't wait to see the leader boards for all the HALO / CoD players when this gets out. All the kids desperate to prove how shit they are...

It makes sense, though. The reflex action is bound to make you chuck you muck.

This poll fails to take into account the value of foreplay including fingerplay in the bedroom.

Gamers are all about details. Maybe you non nerds just hop on and finish but we know how to please a woman. And they're good with their figners.

Lol...Just read the study...

Just to remind everyone that correlation does not imply causality.

What the study proves is that people who do suffer from premature ejaculation usually do so because they have high levels of serotonin, which also causes quick reflexes. It also causes you to be happy, and not depressed, amongst other things.

Study does not, however, prove what most people are extrapolating: That quick reflexes = premature ejaculation.

In other words, it's entirely possible for people to be good in bed, and in FPS, and it's entirely possible for you to just suck at both. So if you suck at FPSs, it doesn't mean you will be good in bed...at all... It just means you suck at FPSs.
The other problem is that I can't possibly have good reflexes because of high levels of serotonin...cause I have clinical depression!

The mystery deepens!

I used to be terrible at FPS but now I've heavily improved, I doubt this is reliable since I wouldn't suddenly have P.E. from improving my game with practise.

The study is just showing that there is a correlation between those that suffer from P.E. and the presence of the specific gene that affects a persons reflexes. Correlation is not proof. There for it is possible to have the reflexes of a mongoose and still be able to hold your load for the full ride. But still a funny topic for people to wast time making studies about. What ever happened to trying to cure aids, looks like every scientist just wants to make the next Viagra.
If someone gets AIDS, who really cares when you've spawned 20 children due to your incessant fucking?

Bwahahaha! I'm so glad I suck at first person shooters now that I've seen this:

http://gizmodo.com/5060687/scientists-find-gene-that-makes-you-good-at-halo-also-makes-you-a-premature-ejaculator

The comments made me fall out of my chair with laughter.
Given they're talking about PE being due to serotonin release, which happens when you're in love (and more often to women), I think there's possibly not the 'rigid' link they're implying.

I would rather be good at video games than good in bed-- because hey, I don't need a woman to have an orgasm.

Seriously though, this article is worthless. The study found a correlation between Dutch males with irregular serotonin and premature ejaculation problems, so when the scientists were quoted as saying that those affected:

People jump to the obvious conculsion that anyone who can point a mouse or tap a button must be horrible sex partners. That's good science.

So, to all of you people who claim to "suck at FPSs", don't get to excited:

Being bad at video games =/= being good at sex.

Hmmm, im crap at fps and i also ejaculate prematurly. Neither of these things bother me too much tho as fps are generally shite and i have found sleeping with ugly girls cures my pre-mature ejacualtion issues

I choose other.
If I could choose to be good at videogames or to be good at sex, I would ofcourse choose to be good at sex.

...I would however never limit myself to love only females, too dull.

I'm gonna go ahead and say 'Yeah, right' now. Not everything scientsits claim is true. The experiment needs to be repeated with a bigger test range. I going fora high feth-factor on this one...

For once, I have to agree with Caliostro. These kinds of studies are done all the time, and depending on how you intertpret the data, you can essentialy make them say whatever you want. That being said, good thing I'm not Dutch.
