Honestly, knowing me, I'd see it, say, "What the heck?", realize what it is, then say "Oh sh...", since I'd have already wasted too much time wondering what it was to get away.
If it's near a group of people, I'd instantly jump on top of it and absorb the impact. If I was alone, I'd move away.
I'm a military brat and training to join the US military in a few years. Why be selfish if in a group of innocent people who may die if you don't move? Needs of the Many outweigh the needs of the Few.
PS: Throwing it back may risk more innocents. If it's just some idiot who obviously has no military training and doesn't even count a few seconds after pulling the pin, then you have enough time to throw it back at his dumb ass.
