I know, I know, vs thread, but trust me I actually have a point to this one. I suspect the voting will go a certain way and after a while I'll add to this post detailing my actual reason for asking this question and a little rant to go with it. Please post your reason why you voted the way you did as well, as I suspect it will help with what I tentatively call my research.
Alright, let's try this again.
Also captcha had rewrote in it, haha.
EDIT: Well the voting went exactly how I expected it to, but the thing that surprises me somewhat is the reasons. Obviously I already knew that people prefer Red Dead Redemption, this was to help me figure out why. I'm glad to see a large number of people praising RDR for it's setting, atmposphere and weapons. Doubly so because those are basically the only differences between it and Grand Theft Auto 4. Seriously. It's more or less the same story, the games are built on the same engine and the whole premise is basically the same, ie it's a gritty, story driven open world action adventure. What I was actually expecting to see more of was Saints Row praise (which was still there) and critisism of Grand Theft Auto 4 for not being "True to Grand Theft Auto Form" (Again, still there). This was because whenever GTA4 pops up in discussion, it seems people can't bash it fast enough and claim that it wasn't a true sequel to San Andreas. I'm happy to see people judging the game on by it's own merits.
