Poll: Guns or knives?

Guns. I would probably more specifically collect massive amounts of pistols, purely for the joy of being able to wield two at once should the situation ever arise.

Yeah, I should have thought of this; I forgot that the UK is way stricter on gun ownership than the US. But does the government not make a distinction between show pieces and regular run-of-the-mill weaponry?Nevyrmoore said:

Knives without a doubt they look cooler, there isn't any politically correctiveness behind buying them and plus you can display them in your living room and people know not to mess with you...and there's better designing ship behind them
I perfer knives, for a few reasons, the first being I've never liked guns. Guns are a clumsy, random weapon that a child can pick up and kill indiscriminatly. Knives require training, practice, and finesse to use appropriately. Knives give you options, the choice to disarm, disable, or destroy your target, and the control to go as far as you need to to elimate the threat. Guns are rather limited in their abilities as they can only shoot, or apply blunt force if you hit someone with it.
Although, that being said, I won't be the one to bring a knife to a gunfight. If someone sticks a gun at me, I'll bide my time and do what I need to to survive.

I've never like knives. Particularly when someone started waving a particularly large hunting knife at me a few years ago.
Personaly, I would collect neither because Guns are equally dangerous.
...However, I am saving up to buy a deactivated Springfield M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle circa 1945. Much safer but still equally awesome
