Jorge. 2 reasons.

1. In the game he fucking got the job done. He was the only teammate that wasn't absolutely useless.

He died like a SPARTAN should. It may have been in vain, but as far as he knew at the time, it was as good a death as any SPARTAN could have wished for.

Either me or Jorge. Me because he's mega heroic and the only one in the squad who can kill anything, and Jorge because he's actually a pretty good character.

Emile, because a pretty realistic character although a freaking arrogant turd. However a close second is either Jorge for being so damn likable, or Jun for just being an awesome sniper, Noble 6 is all right haven't seen how he (for me) goes out. So if it's in a crazy tail spin of awesome before exploding into a huge fireball of Nuclear Amazing with the fallout ravaging the lands of a small Scandinavian country. Then Noble 6 will be my favorite character ever for any shooter.

I'm playing through the campaign at the moment and don't find the storyline engaging whatsoever. I'd happily skip every cutscene. However, I voted Jorge.

Although I love noble six, Jorge is the better one, he's just the most interesting (Out of the already interesting bunch of them).

Jun had the best line in the game: "No...Gonna steal it back..."
Jorge was the most "likeable" character, in that he was still human.
Emil...I waited the WHOLE GAME for him to use that knife.
Carter was...who again? Oh, right. The leader who had no personality and just faded...who am I talking about again?
Kat was my favorite. Maybe because she was a girl. I know the dialect/accent was part of it. Her death was the most shocking and painful for me.
Six: Went down swinging, literally. The last enemy I killed was with the butt of my sniper rifle.

non of them really endear themselves to me so I guess Jorge because every time they call him George I scream at the T.V., "it's pronounced HOR-he, HOOOOOOOOOOOR-he!!!"

Emile, Jorge and Noble 6 for one same reason...darn epic deaths! Though Jorge could be still alive because he goes through a slip-space rupture and not an explosion. He could have floated down to whatever planet the slip went.

Jorge, just because of his ultimate sacrifice, so sad, made me cry

I actually found Kat's death more emotional because it was completely unexpected. Jorge's was too cheesy for me to feel emotion

It was Kat's death that really hit me the hardest there too, followed by Emile's. Mainly because there was no great sacrifice there, or desperate suicidal attack. Her death just showed, that no matter how badass you are or how cool your robot arm is, you can still be killed by a crack sniper who gets a bead on your head.

Noble 6 doesn't belong in this category, as after all, that was you after all. Probably one of the most tragic game moments I have gone through, from the point where the words "Survive" flashed up on the screen. Talk about a feeling of hopelessness....

Yeah, that last bit was a great way to end the game.

I like Emile best purely because he was there at the end with me. I formed more of a connection with him in that last mission than I did with any of the others. Plus, at one point when I was pinned down he just jumped out of cover, screamed and then started fucking punching elites in the face. I also love his dialogue during his death; 'I'm ready! How 'bout you?!' Although he should probably have been looking at his motion sensor.

Kat would have been a close second, but her AI seemed worse than the others. I had to punch her in the face to make her get on the warthog turret. Dumb *****.

however much i like Jorge i hated how he just seemed to lose his will to live after the space fight even though i can think of plenty of ways to get that stuff done without him sacrificing himself (the marines have NO way down they are going to die have them do it its not selfish since they are going to die anyway) Emile on the other hand fought with everything he had and never gave up he fought till his end and even that was bad ass
even though he's sort of a dick i cant help but respect him

My favorite is Noble Six because of the ending he was choosen by Cortana to protect her. Then comes Emile and Jun tied for 2nd place. I hope Jun is still alive because we never saw him die.

Jorge - Awesome, lovable character
Jun - entertaining, funny, likable.
Mix up between carter - sense of sacrifice, I was initially a bit anxious on the first mission to go into the house, or go without my team in front of me, but when I heard that he was backing me up, I went on in, good voice actor.
and emile - pokes fun at jorge alot, funny, rather bad ass.

Kat I had no sympathy what so ever when she died. She did not seem human, seemed distant, unlikeable, and nearly useless.

Also, I can't help but laugh that you called him charter in the poll.
