Poll: Halo: Which one?

I'm considering getting a Halo game, but I don't know which one. Halo 3, Halo: ODST, or Halo: reach? All opinions welcome, apart from you Xbox haters; I honestly don't care about the arguments against Xbox, and you can take your opinions where I'm asking for them.

You should wait for Reach. If you are impatient and can't wait, then get Halo 3.

The first Halo. It's the best one, altough it's not on your list. Altough I kinda hate what it did for the world of shooters today, I still love the first halo.

Wait, what? I just voted Reach, but it says that one person has voted "None: Save your money."

If I accidentally voted for that, disregard it. I love the Halo series. But I would certainly not recommend starting with Halo 3: never, EVER start a series with anything but the first one.

However, between your poll options, Reach, being a prequel, may give a bit more context to the events of the first game. And despite what people say, I really liked the story of the Halo series. Meaning that you can start with Reach if you want (it's looking amazing, and the multiplayer beta is fantastic ), but do not play any of the trilogy out of order: the order I recommend is this:

Halo
Halo 2
Halo 3
Halo 3: ODST
Halo: Reach

But as said, you can play Reach first. That would be fine.

Halo:CE for campaign.

Halo 3 is better, even if the campaign is not as great.

For a first buy, I'd say ODST as you get all the best stuff from 3 and the ODST stuff (So Firefight, Reach Beta and a Portal-esque campaign)

Also, 3 is going very cheap.

I haven't played any games other than Halo 3 so I guess I recommend Halo 3

The original Halo, which had by far the best campaign of the others (Although ODST had a pretty solid, albeit short, campaign)

I honestly think Halo: Combat Evolved is the best of the series. Though that may be down to the fact that I played the whole thing in one sitting, couch co-op at a friends house. Possibly my most memorable moment playing a game.

In my opinion, that is the BEST GAME ("OF ALL TIME") of the Halo series. Plus it's out on the PC, which you can get the Custom Edition for it, which means...

SCARABS! Yes, you can drive things (like Scarabs) that you couldn't in other games.

But if you don't want an old game (you prick) I suggest you wait for Reach.
