Even though logic states killing won't matter, I'm too much of a pussy to kill bugs. Unless it's for entomology class. I can normally throw away morality in the name of science.

I cannot abide flies, but if it's at all possible to shoo one out a window I will do that.
I take no pleasure in killing anything, and I leave spiders and moths alone. Moths especially, since they rank among my favourite animals.

We live beside a field containing livestock, though, which means that we get veritable swarms during the summer. I've taken to using flypaper lately. Hanging insect-graveyards are pretty macabre, but a better alternative to the buggers crawling all over the kitchen. Disgusting little critters, flies.

Oh. I'm not a huge fan of mosquitoes either, but you don't get them in Ireland. And I haven't seen a midge in years [have any of you Irishmen noticed this?]

I'm generally kind to Lady Bugs, sometimes letting them crawl on my finger. I also remember getting a bucket and keeping a caterpillar as a pet when I was 7.

On the flipside, however, I essentially executed an injured bee when I was young (some kids were standing in a circle around it, and I decided to crush it), and tortured a cockroach. I also firmly believe we need to bring those Mosquito-killing lasers here, remove the distinction between those with and without Malaria, and drive the damn species to extinction.

Kill it, if I can hit it. If I miss within a few times and find something more important to do, I'll just leave it :p

Just a few moments ago a fly landed on my screen and annoyed the hell out of me. Then he began flying around my head to annoy me further. After a while he mustve become exhausted because he landed on my desk and didnt avoid me much when i approached it. So I brought for my lighter and gave him a brief flame, instantly incinerating his wings and most of his hair. After watching him squirm I gave him another one and he twitched and squirmed and then slowed down and twitched a bit. Then I burnt him for a good 10 seconds, most of his limbs burning up together with what little life there was left in him.

For a brief moment I felt guilty about making it suffer, but then I blew the legs off a midget in Borderlands and felt better about myself.

Die!!! Die you...Oooooh, mushrooms.....
...Eh? Sorry, the mushrooms distracted me...
But back on topic. If I see a bug, I'll usually kill it. Unless it's a stink bug. I've seen a few of 'em, and it's best to just let them be. (Found out the hard way. Ugh, I'll think twice about smashing one of 'em if I see one again.)

I look for the real slow ones, then rip off its wings and keep flicking it around my table xD
I once trapped one in a thimble once. I kept checking on it every few hours. It stopped moving after a day.

I also like to take spiders by the legs and put them down the toilet and wait for them to drown. I'm so goddamn sadistic xD
...Can I just say you creep me out with that statement?!

I let it live. Although one time, me and my brother caught a roach, taped him to the ceiling fan, and created Roach NASA.
