But sure. Nintendos 4 Zelda Remakes TOTALLY outweigh all of those on the RemasterStation 4.
Sort of, since most of the games you listed were by completely different studios. All the Zelda games were by Nintendo. It doesn't matter, though. We weren't arguing about who had more hd re-releases. You criticized Sony for having them, and I simply pointed out that Nintendo was doing the exact same thing. Personally, I like remasters, since they give new gamers a chance to play old titles. I just think it's silly to criticize another company for having remasters on their console when we both know that Nintendo does the same thing.

really? you think Mario 3D World, Mario Kart, Mario Party and Mario Tennis are all the same now?
No, but I'm having trouble seeing the difference between the three or four Mario platformers on the Wii U, the three or so on the 3ds, the three zelda games on the Wii U (two of which are HD remakes), and the four or so Zelda games on the 3ds (two of which are hd remakes). And that's discounting the dozen or so spin-offs that you mentioned earlier. Again, I'm totally fine with this. Nintendo can make as many Mario games as they want, especially if that's what their fans enjoy. I'm just tired of Nintendo fans pretending like their golden calf is better then everyone else, when they tend to do the same crummy things as Microsoft and Sony. I mean, I like Sony and Nintendo, but I can admit that both have faults.

maybe YOU weren't.

that was my whole criticism. it's a RemasterStation 4.

the majority of the PS4 libray is Remasters, Multiplats you can get on Xbone and PC as well, or even both!!!

pretty much everything nintendo screams as "innovation" or touts as a feature, it's pretty much something I don't like or couldn't muster up even one fuck to give about. I've played enough of their flagship titles to know that the new ones don't offer anything I'm interested in, and their games lack pretty much everything I like in games.

also reflected in this, is their controllers, dear god did they get it right with the gamecube, but then they threw that away with the wii and wiiU, so I can only imagine the NX will be similar to that.

ps4 pretty much has the exclusives I'm interested in that aren't on pc, so nintendo is going to have to try 8 billion times harder if they want my money.
pretty much everything nintendo screams as "innovation" or touts as a feature,
and when they don't scream innovation no one gives a shit. like with Xenoblade for example...
Xenoblade on the Wii? For one, NOA wouldn't even release it here. It took a petition to get it and then it was exclusive to Gamestop who took advantage of that fact. Speaking of NOA, NOJ needs to fix them. We get no discounts on SNES 3DS VC games while other regions do, we often don't get lots of VC games that other regions do and when it comes to retail releases, we had to beg for Xenoblade, The Last Story and Pandoras Tower.

Oh and when the NX comes, will we lose the Wii VC games that never made it to the Wii U eShop? Will we have to pay again for the ones that did make it to the Wii U eShop? Will we have to transfer our games from Wii U to NX the way we did Wii to Wii U?

Fact is, Nintendo is way behind everyone else and it's not cute any longer.

Sorry, I didn't know it. Speaking of that game, it seems to be a less than worthy sequel to hear people talk about it. Still though, the failings of NOA and the way Nintendo treats digital purchases will likely be a problem next gen too.

the way they treat digital puchase's?

you mean like how their virtual console was entirely backwards with the wii's and how they gave everyone a heavily discounted price if they chose to upgrade their virtual console games to the Wii U versions?

those bastards!!!

Not wanting another monochrome shooter is not the same as wanting gimmicky controls.
i find it hilarious that everyone shits on Nintendo for having "Gimmicky" gimmicky controls and meanwhile everyone is lapping up Oculus Rift and PSVR like no tomorrow.

the VR Headsets are probably the biggest gimmicky things out there since the Wiimote. XD
The difference is that those gimmicks aren't mandatory. And actually work well.

if you consider gluing a tv to your face so you can look around, while also needing PS Move to fully experience VR properly, as working well then sure. XD

and the Wii U Gamepad is mandatory now? lol.
i like how you're conveniently forgetting that this exists.

Starfox Zero

Also, please stop arguing so adamantly for a console like your honor is on the line or something. Even the top brass at Nintendo have ditched the Wii U.

Do you think those Wii ONLY VC titles will transfer over to the NX? Generally speaking their backward compatibility only goes back one gen so that means that NX may not have a Wii Mode. Further, all digital purchases are only allowed on one system and you must have the old system to transfer to the new system. A broken, lost or stolen system requires that you call Nintendo and try to convince them to let you have your games back once you have bought a new system.

Everyone else, including Steam has a much more liberal system. Sony let's you put your games on 2 systems. Microsoft let's you put your games on as many systems as needed so long as the 2nd and beyond are connected to the internet and Steam lets you put your games on as many PC's as you want with being connected online. With Sony, if I buy a PS1 Classic I can play it on a handheld and the console with a single purchase while Nintendo makes you buy games once for the console and again for the 3DS. Do you approve of that?

So I want an honest answer from you, do you believe NX will have a Wii mode? A mode required to play Wii ONLY VC games, Wii ONLY VC games are games like Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana or Super Mario RPG that never made it to the Wii U eShop and cannot currently be played outside of Wii mode?

that's still more backwards compatibility than MS & Sony have on their systems...

Do you approve of Sony selling you a $200 handheld only to pretty much immediately ditch it only giving it ports, indies and multiplats while forcing you to buy expensive memory cards just to save your data and then completely abandon the handheld market only a few years later?

There is a reason I ask you to answer honestly, you usually don't so I will try one more time.

i doubt it will play Wii Discs but it will likely be backwards compatible with Wii U discs and likely still have all your digital content on wii u backwards compatible including wii virtual console titles.

No, I am not happy at the way Sony has dumped the Vita but then I don't need to ask myself if I will buy their next handheld since they aren't making one.

It's not that I think the Wii U is bad, far from it. For me there are some very cool games that I either missed before or can't get on any other platform.
But the NX comes out at a time when I've completed so few games on the Wii U (I own about 20, finished like... 3?) that it's not worth byuing a new console, yet. I'd rather play some stuff first and get the NX when there are at least 8 to 10 games I'd really like to play and there has been a price drop. That shit's getting expensive...
