I have a few but stopped buying them as I can't get the ones I want without buying from resellers for exhorbitant amounts. I wanted Shulk. Its a hundred dollars all because Nintendo didn't print enough and won't reprint. To make matters worse, they're reprinting but making them different.

Yes, I have 6 of them. I have Mario, Link, Zelda, Samus, Pikachu, and Bowser. I'm beginning to wonder why I bought them though.

Nope, never bought one. Only way I would buy one would be if it was defective and I know I could make a good amount of money from it.

You got a Rosalina!? Awh, no fair!

Then again, I found a lot of amiibos to be rather easy to get.
Probably going to get the splatoon ones next.

I don't even play any games that use them for anything. XD

I have Link and Zelda.

Anyway, although both appear to be japanese imports, judging by the packaging, it made no difference to the price, so... Whatever.

I guess it must suck being in the US.
When I actually bothered to look, I found tons of Amiibos all over the place here.
Sure, some are rare, but a local game shop had something like 15 different ones, so... Eh.

Beats having to deal with scalpers. (not that I would. They're alright, but not worth paying tons for)

I do like the detail on them...
Rosalina would've been nice...

And I'd be happy too if they made a skyward sword Zelda figure, though given what dictated the figures they've released, that seems unlikely.

Try living in Canada. It's quite literally impossible to get Rosalina without importing either from the US or overseas.

And no, I don't just mean they're that rare. I mean it is literally impossible to get without importing or getting from scalpers. And the Imports from Japan are cheaper.

To be fair, I have yet to see a rosalina anywhere.
And I did note about 40% of the stock instore was Japanese, not something made for local release.
Still, I haven't seen much point so far in trying to actually hunt down any figures through extreme (and costly) means just yet...
It's weird that way...

Works ok with the new 3ds xl.

I just have Link right now. I am looking for the Splatoon 3 pack, but they are pretty rare and expensive these days. Also looking for Robin, same deal, rare and expensive. That's about it for now. Amiibo are nice, but there are only a few I am interested in. Though if they were to make one of each Pokemon, I can think of about ten I would want an Amiibo of.

Yes I got like 12.

All of them Donkey kong. I am strongly considering buying a Mewtwo when it comes out, I also would like a Ryu Please. I'd have liked to get a wii fit male trainer man amiibo, but I don't think those man haters at Nintendo will make one.

I play him (Dong) in the game on 3ds. I firmly believe Dong is the strongest challenger.

I've got a Samus due to it being on a 50% off sale (shop was closing down, unfortunately). Tempted by a Link as well, but figured the work to make it passable with that urine stand would be too much effort. Mostly waiting for the Ganondorf amiibo now to put besides my Wind Waker 'dorf :) (He's my favorite smash character, and one of my favorite villains.)

Well keep in mind I'm not talking in terms of rarity, I mean Canada is not getting any Rosalina amiibos shipped at all.

See, in North America Rosalina is officially a Target exclusive. This applied to both Canada and the US because there were target stores up here when it was announced. Then a funny thing happened, Target closed all their Canada stores. The liquidation date was roughly the same day as the amiibo wave 3 launch which was the one with Rosalina. Despite being informed, Nintendo never did lift the exclusivity that Target has in Canada (probably contractual agreement or something. So officially, NO store in Canada is getting any Rosalina amiibos unless they import.

I imported my Rosalina simply because at $35 it was STILL cheaper than getting it from the States. Importing is also how I snagged my ZSS amiibo despite it not being officially released in NA for another month yet. :D

Eh, I kinda want both Samus Amiibo and the Link one, but I really don't want to support the fragmentation of content they've been using them for (also they're too expensive for looking like slightly fancier kids meal toys lol). The content they lock off is not enough to warrant a purchase, but just enough to be slightly annoying. At the least, make that stuff purchase-able through microtransactions, or if you want to be seen as a pro-consumer company, just make it so that all Amiibo locked content can be gained through normal gameplay. How they keep not making enough to meet demand for them is also annoying.

Today, at work, there were 30 people at opening wanting a new Amiibo that only our store was selling.

We didn't have any. I asked around and found out that we put it out on pre-order, it sold out in a day and there would be no more amiibos of that type.

Amiibos have been nothing but a waking nightmare for me, I certainly don't want any of them myself. D:

I have 3, Charizard, Zelda and Sheik. The Charizard is unopened and was given to me, I might stick it up on ebay or something, I never really wanted it.

I can get most of them here as they're not overly popular.

I got a few of the Zelda ones recently (Link, toon link, and Zelda) and might get a few others. I like 'em well enough, with great sculpting and paint for the money, but I wish they'd use their sculpting and paint quality with the pose-ability of the World of Nintendo line. I like figures with articulation much more c:

I thought I would never buy one, but I gave in - I bought the Girl Inkling Amiibo only because I wanted to do the final boss with a charger - in order to get better at using that weapon. It has worked out for me, I'm doing much better now but honestly I only bought it for that reason. I have probably done the DJ 5 times with the Charger while only did that with the normal mode twice.

I wish they would make a paid DLC for more SP Missions and Platforming - since I do enjoy the levels especially the ones with the rotating and moving platforms. They should have levels Online with more platforming elements. Camp Triggerfish and Moray Tower are the closes things. Mostly because Moray's verticality while CT in Tower Mode just requires a lot of jumps on the platform in the middle of the water.
