Just a curious question, but I'm wondering if this has ever happened to you?

Opposite, only if I have a beard, otherwise, I am totally Incognito.

Same, Yes... and I didn't even know it. Turns out he was hitting on me, and revealed he was gay to me first.

For some reason he thought I was gay. I still feel sad for some reason, from his expression when he heard I wasn't...
Yes, by all types. Happens often enough if you go out a lot. Sometimes I've said yes, sometimes no.

Ermm...a little odd, but I've gotten hit on by a 45 year old man when I was around 19. Hairy dude, and he wondered why I went wide eyed and crept away without even answering him.

There were a few other guys, though it seemed my normal facial expressions scare them away, which I'm more than happy for.

Didn't quite get hit on by girls, normally ones that were rather tame due to the fact they already had boyfriends, but it was still nice. Most of the obvious ones would do a run by "pinch my ass", which I'm never expecting it.

I don't think I've had many guys flirt with me but this girl once did..it eventually got so bad I had the police involved twice. She made a fake facebook page and would talk to herself from it and she made up a fake guy to talk to me...I was pretty firm when I told her I was not a lesbian but she still called me every night for weeks. The facebook page was a felony thank god so she can't interact with me ever again.

Still gives me the willies thinking about it.

Yes, apparently girls flirt with me quite often. I'm not sure if I realize it most of the time, though.

I've been hit-on by other guys, but not many. Not to many openly gay or bisexual guys at my school. Bible belt...

I can tell when I've been flirting by accident with people, or when they're flirting with me, now. I used to not be able to, poor little socially inept bastard, I was.

Still no girlfriend. Sigh... Loneliness.

Hmm take it as a compliment, apparently gay guys are really picky.
At least thats the reasoning that has kept me from ripping my eyes out..

OT: Yes it has, both ways

If someone of the same gender shows interest I make it known to them that I aint into them queer-mo-sexuals! But in a polite manner ofcourse, as I would do to anyone else.

Once that I know of in an online game where I played an attractive female who wore no pants,he gave me items and followed me around. For a while the attention was nice, but I eventually let him know I was a guy but I let him think I'm a bi sexual chick.

In real life I'm fairly oblivious because my mom was convinced this chick in my accounting class was hitting on me becasue she asked for my help on the homework.

Both I guess.

A flaming homo (no offence intended, you know the kind I'm talking about) once grabbed my arm, said "heeey boooy" and asked for directions to "The Gay House" (Bøssehuset) in Christiania, Copenhagen. When I told him where it was he asked me if I wanted to join him and his friend. Does that count as being hit on?

I've been hit on by a lot of girls and women, chalk that up to gender equality and/or alcohol.

Not quite sure if "bøsse" translates to "gay" or something a little more offensive.

Yeah, when I was out with some friends once I was introduced to this dude. I should have guessed he was gay after he spent a whole twenty minutes babbling on about my eyes and hair, but then he made a move and I was gone in a flash!
Yeah... definitely should have guessed the moment he started going on a tangent about how you look....

I've been hit on by both sides though. It's really annoying when a gay guy does it though. Last one that did it bought me a drink and started trying to talk to me. I just nodded, said thanks for the drink and walked away. Never turn down a free drink! lol

Thankfully averted with me, as neither gender has "hit on" me. I wouldn't know what to do in case that ever happens.

I have been hit on by both.

I didn't particularly enjoy my experience when I was hit on by a girl - I didn't feel comfortable around her to begin with, this was only heightened when she decided it would be okay to touch my lip ring.

It's happened. Usually just innocent flirting back and forth, with both sexes. And I'm fine with that. I'm a flirty kinda guy myself, even if lately I've had zero interest in romance.

I have a habit of being oblivious so for all I know yes to both but so far it's only been of the opposite that I realized.
That's pretty much the story of my life.

Lately some of my students have taken to attempting comments in English so I've been getting things like "nice bust" and "I watch you" (as opposed to, presumably, "I want you"). Keepin' it classy kids.
