I had played too much Warhammer back in the day, and the next time i went shopping i saw three people walking side by side and tried to charge them from behind with my calvalry (you know, because a unit in formation that gets hit from behind flee's)

I was most embarrased when they didn't.

One time when I was about to go to sleep, I heard in my head: "Fast-forwarding memory to a more recent one."

Apon hearing an awesome dude with the codec beep for his ringtone i reached for the answer button, then noticing the lack of controller jumped around to marvel in the awesomeness.

Also, there was a much more common occurance for msn - i wanted a song from youtube on my mp3 player a long time ago, there was no mp3 i could find on the net, so i played the video while recording the sceen and speakers with camtasia, then removed the video and changed the encodeing. Anyway point being that i didnt realise but on two of the songs someone had signed in on msn, and every, EVERY time i heard it i glanced to that corner of where the screen should be no matter where i was. Thing is, i sent those songs to a freind or two, same thing happened, so im slightly less abnormal.

Once i was walking around town, not really thinking about anything, when i ran into a friend i hadn't seen for ages.

the thing is, he normally can't get into the town center because of where he lives, so i hit him and yelled "SPY CHECK"

the beating he gave me was deserved.

I don't know if this would count:

Whenever I'm playing Morrowind/Oblivion/Fallout 3, I instinctively quicksave every 30 seconds. One time, I was playing Fallout 3 for several hours, and realized I had an essay I had to type up for the next day, so I pulled up MSWord and started typing my essay. About every 30 seconds, I would quicksave my essay, using ctrl+s instead of F5. The next day, I had to hand-write an essay in class, and I was going nuts trying to quicksave.

In my most recent driving lesson I spotted a cow and I had to hastily put away a Carmaggedon flashback I had.

I kept imagining that I could do combat rolls like the COGs from Gears.
Once I was lucid dreaming (forgot doing what) and when I heard the distinct BOOM dialogue of the boomer, I instantly woke up completely ready for the day.

My German teacher pulled out a pair of glasses and asked whose they were, and I immediately thought, "I wonder how many caps I could get for those?"

I often hear "Enemy boat spotted" out of nowhere when I sit in class bored. And I hear the "_______ has logged in" noise from when a friend logs in on XBL.

12 caps.

But whenever I finish my homework or something to that effect the Playstation 3 trophy noise appears.

Yeah I do stuff like that all the time. A while ago, after playing a shitload of Ace Combat 4, I kept seeing those little green targeting circles on everything. I thought I was going crazy.

Also, before doing things that are risky or could end badly I think to bring up the menu and save first. Oh god I wish I could save my life...

Also, after playing games with cover systems like RSV:2 I always look at corners and doorways and think to take cover behind them. Sometimes I just barely save myself from actually diving against the wall.

After playing a lot of Splinter Cell, I walked into a room that had no windows and thought "Shoot the lights"

I suppos when a phone rings in a game or on a movie that is similar to my home's ring tone I have been known to look over my shoulder to see who is calling.

But is that really confusing reality for game or the inverse? The crying kid and Left for Dead is not something I would talk about to often.
