Dragon Age, a few times. Kings Quest, with that goat. Prototype when I'm trying not to be noticed and I accidentally grab someone (you can't let them go), and wasn't trying to kill anyone. Didn't feel anything for the companion cube, though. To me, it was a block that I used as a stepping stool. I stopped playing for a few moments, and listened, and when nothing continued to happen, I finished the level and tossed it down an incinerator shaft.

When I accidentally caused Ethan to die in Heavy Rain because Madison didn't drive her bike successfully, I felt really guilty.

To those who say they were sad when Ashley died, I have to humbly disagree. SHE SHOT WREX! I gladly let her burn. Admititbly, I did reload a save so I could put all my points into Charm and thus saved him, but still...

GTA 4 was full of these sorts of choices.
I chose to do the deal with Dmitri rather than take my revenge, because I wanted to avoid the endless cycle of revenge. I was sort of hoping that helping him would make him stop being a jerk to me. Of course, this all turned out wrong when a hitman shows up. At Roman's wedding.

I once stuck semtex to the back of someones head in MW2 because they were being an asshole on the mic. I felt guilty because another ally also died in the blast. Collateral damage is a *****.

I do not feel guilt when it comes to interacting with a computer program. I feel amusement, I feel frustration but I have never felt guilt about killing a civilian* in a game or something similar.

*I've regretted killing a civilian but only when the act itself caused a chain of events leading to my characters death.

Mass Effect, any time I make Tali feel bad. :(
Bahaha. Yeah mine would be any time I make that blue chick sad (eg: when I "hooked/romanced" up with the human chick.

Where's the 'guilt? What's that?' option. If I don't feel guilty for anything in real life, I don't see why a game would evoke that emotion. From murdering everyone in Oblivion, to murdering my useless girlfriend in San Andreas, to murdering...well, you get the idea, no game has ever made me feel guilty over a decision.

1) The headcrab zombies of Half-Life made me feel guilty killing them.

2) They were trying to eat my face.

3) Because they were slaves and I felt that they still had a soul in them. Their shambling and sorrow made me feel guilty for them.

4) After a while, I started to feel less guilty doing it, but that first guilt was still there. I continue to kill them to this day, but I still think of that first time.

Yes, guilt from both something I did on purpose (Evacuating Vault 101 with bullets) and an accident (Making Riley a cripple in FO3).

STALKER:

I walked into a group of STALKER's getting attacked by mutants and I waited till they all died so I could take all their stuff. I failed Duty that day...

Yes, I would do it again.
I sniped 5 duty guys in Call of Pripyat (north area of jupiter on the tracks by the swamps) looted them, then shot the 2 freedom guys taht spawned in teh face with my shotgun. They were in Exosuits so one guy had to lay there bleeding out while I looted his friend then finished him off.

I feel somewhat guilty because I just did 2 duty missions to befriend them. And they didn't even have the detectors I was looking for!

In Fallout 3, when I first started, I was bored and needed equipment, clothes, etc. to sell for precious bottle cap currency. So, I decide to go into the Church of the Atom. Didn't originally intend to, I was curious what was inside, but I ended up saving then going on repeated rampages, attempting to plan a way to use my bat and pistol to murder everyone in the building without one escaping so nobody on the outside would know.

Well, eventually I decided that the old black woman was the hardest to kill, so I crept up behind her in the back room with my bat. One hit to the back of the skull didn't kill her, but my second swat to her leg did. I ran to the door and stood there, holding up my guard, letting the people charge me. When they ran, they ran away form the door. Eventually, I bludgeoned enough people that everyone else, amounting to about four frightened survivors, ran off to huddle in the corners. I picked them off. Having committed religious genocide (out of boredom, no less), I proceeded to take all of their things and sell or use them based on usefulness to me.

Later on, a few levels later, actually, I returned and went upstairs to the bunk area, where the preacher guy was unaware of the nude corpses that had not yet vanished, was to sleep. I sat in the corner and waited. When I came out of the 'wait,' he was just going to bed. I waited three more hours and came out at midnight or something. Regardless of the time, he was fast asleep. Needless to say, he never woke up again. I snuck up to his bed with my well maintained combat knife, using VATS for a sneak attack since he was on his side facing away from me. The strike took off his left arm and tossed his body into the wall (somehow), which then fell a little bit behind the bed. I looted his body, the rest of the building, and left.

So, yes, I committed religious genocide mostly out of boredom, then out of a will to finish what I started. I'm not too proud of that, but, the funny part is that I never would have gotten to my godly character now without the funds from selling items and weapons that killing spree got me. I could have, but the story would have been slower and much more different.

Still, I'm not proud of that, but it's a game so I can joke about it.

Curiously, I can go through Mass Effect and FO3 without any sort of guilt killing and looting everything in sight, but STALKER... no.

I care a lot about my teammates in any game where they have some kind of personality, even NPC's, so I'll go out of my way to try to save them. If they get hurt or killed, I reload a save and fix what I did wrong.

Nope. It's a game, I only feel guilt when its a person I was actually fond of, or I really made a mistake - and had wanted them alive/safe. Otherwise, I tend to just do what I want.

I can name a couple of occasions but this ones my most profound.
In Fallout 3, i went into an office building with my dog. I left him in a store room. I was attacked by a large group of Raiders soon after - I managed to fight them off, but i was practically dead. I ran to where Dogmeat was, being chased by 6 guys with shotguns. I only had a couple of seconds, and i had next to no health. I made a split second choice, pulled out a lead pipe, and killed him for meat. I survived the encounter, but...

I may name another one in future.

Yes, but I was young. I was playing Sonic Adventure 2 in the Chao Garden. I was once a hardcore chao caretaker. But even I had my limits. I remember the chao could get very annoying. A few times it really got to me. And I pounded the shit out of those loveable creatures.

I loaded a save in this one so it doesn't really count, butin Fallout 3, I killed that Sydney chick after fighting through hell with her just to get her unique SMG. It tore at my very soul so I loaded a save and then used a glitch to get limitless amounts of the SMG without killing her. And oddly enough I feel more guilt about killing an NPC than I do using a glitch.

Allowing anybody fighting alongside me to die in FO3.

More specifically:
Killing your sister to get the Sword of Aeons, killing Thunder to marry Lady Grey, and killing Whisper at Jack's behest for an extra reward.
Pretty much every Dark Side option. On the Unknown World, siding with Dark Side Bastila and killing Juhani and Jolee on top of the temple; then the following confrontation where you end up causing Carth to run off, knowing that you've now completely fallen, and then the ability to Force Persuade Zaalbar to kill Mission. As bit of backround, Mission is an orphan street urchin whom Zaalbar is both the protector and best friend to. And at that point, your character has practically taken Mission on as a sort of daughter, and she helps you (perhaps saving your life). Probably one of the most evil things I've done in a video game.

Although I'm generally always aware that I'm doing said things.
