Yes. Sadly, the only Rayman game I played was the Rabbit game on the Wii. it was pretty fun...and I really like the plunger rail shooter level, but it was a little depressing when I discovered that I had missed a classic platformer series. Origins looks fantastic!

By the way, anyone here pick up the Rayman 2 3DS port? I don't care if the 3D is good or not...is it a good port? Worth picking up for someone that's never played the series before?

Rayman is a 3d platformer
LIES, FUCKING LIES. The only Rayman game is 2D, and that was on the PS1(and other consoles... including MS-DOS, Atari Jaguar, Sega Saturn, PC, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation Network, DSiWare)! The 3D games don't exists to me!

Also, am really looking forward to Origins I hope it comes out on the Wii/ WiiU.

I remember playing Rayman, back in second grade, on the PS1. IT WAS EPIC! Sadly I never came far on it, I came as far as the musical world, and gave up as it was too hard..., I should try again sometime.

Also, I have Rayman Revolution, which I found sucking.
Rayman Revolution was a terrible port of Rayman 2 with a shitty hub word.

Play the N64, or Dreamcast versions instead, they are much better.
They might be so, but I honestly don't feel like buying an N64/Dreamcast and rayman 2 right now :p. Maybe when I actually have beaten the first one, as then I'm in the mood for more :p
All of the 3 original Rayman games can be purchased at good old games if you want.
Thank you. *writes on to do list:* ''Finsish Rayman, buy the 2nd and 3rd, then finish those.

Yeah, for one, Rayman is originally a 2D platformer with insane difficulty. They are by far the best though. The 3D games were pretty good too. Secondly, has anyone not heard of Rayman?

Rayman, the original one...for the PS1, was one of the first video games I ever played. I fucking love Rayman. Never played any of the Ribbid ones though, I stopped at 3.

Ive heard of Rayman, i even played the first, second and even Rayman M...how was the 3rd game anyway, and i feel that the Rabbids was milked to death, thought Rabbids go Home was the last one. >,>

Then again i know nothing about the Rabbids series except they outshined Rayman, got rid of Rayman 4 and that i don't even know how their games play like.

Ah, good ol' rayman.
Loved Rayman on the PS2.
The one with the 3d cover, think it was called Rayman 3D!
Ah, good times with the grappiling hook, and those trippy transport mini-games.
And the bosses, and the...
OH MY GOD!
I NEVER FINISHED IT!
*rushes over to PS2*

Yes, yes I have.
I'm glad that it is going back to actually being about Rayman now instead of the Rabbids.

The original Rayman was fantastic and probably the hardest platformer I had as a kid on the PS1. I could never get past Twilight Gulch. I also had Rayman Revolutions, pretty much the PS2 port of Rayman 2 but with slightly updated graphics and all of the content of previous ports. It was a good game and fixed a fair bit of the frustration of the Dreamcast's evil controls.

I played the computer games when I was a kid. One even doubled as a teaching program. Though I remember getting stuck in an art-themed level and never finishing one of them...

I played one of them for the N64 and liked it, but it didn't give me the same feel as the computer games so I quickly abandoned. Haven't played a Rayman game since.
