What? At what point did i show obsession with this?! I said "I want to lost my virginity" and suddenly people assume i´m in some kind of super-rush in order to lose the fuck out of it?DasUberCow said:

Also, the second part...i´m not sure i know what that means? That i should get out more and hang out with the (almost) completely abysmal specimens of females i know? Nope, and I don't plan on it anytime soon. I've never understood why people are so set on loosing it, but that's just me.

It's weird, I never thought of it as a big thing, but I really do wanna lose it, and get over that hurdle now. I was always quite akward around girls, but since a few drunken fumbles and a real girlfriend I've started to get a lot more confident. But, I still have a bit of a block when things move toward actual sexual encounters, a bit worried about my body, various proportions and so on. I think that's the one part of sex that actually means something, that it actually brings you closer together. It makes you more intimate so it strengthens a relationship.no_more_usernames said:

As long as you're mature about it and the relationship as a whole it doesn't have a profound impact, which is why i find it laughable (and disgusting) when younger children are sexually active. (What does that even mean?-Juno)
17 and no. Not really looking to lose it at the moment either. It's not the biggest thing playing on my mind at the moment.
I lost mine when I was 17 with my girlfriend. More importantly, I may have lost mine, but I stole hers. So double win.

I didn't lose it till I was 19 or 20. I forget exactly. I have to say it's not all it's made out to be in the media. Having a loving partner is great, but sex is just sex.
Funny story about losing it. My first real gf and I dated for 1.5yrs but she was in a pretty strict catholic family and she valued "keeping it till she's married" so that never panned out for me. So then after we had broken up I eventually met a girl playing WoW. I went all the way to New York and spent a week with her having lots and lots of sex. It was definitely an amazing vacation!
But anyway since then I've had plenty of sex although not with a lot of girls. Currently in a relationship, it's been ~1.5yrs now.
To all the people who want to lose the V card but haven't yet... seriously don't worry about it. Just relax when you're around girls and pay attention to ones you like, and stuff will happen.
