Mononoke was just awesome and beautiful. I can't describe it in any other way.
Sadly, I have not seen Totoro. :(

That's a really difficult one... I've liked every one I've seen. Which one I like the best really depends on my mood. So, for today, it's Howl's Moving Castle.

Ponyo was also everything that ever was and more. <3

Sadly the only 1 I've seen is Spirited Away, but it was really good. I hope to see some more =]

Spirited Away with an extremely close second of Castle in the Sky. I just went with Spirited Away as it was the first Miyazaki movie I saw, and it's very hard to choose the best Miyazaki film since they're all made of awesome.

Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle, they're both great, it's hard to pick one.

Miyazaki is very close to my heart. His films are incredible but its the themes that come up time and time again that really get me. The antagonization of militaristic behavior in conjunction with a good deal of environmentalism are very present when his more adult oriented films are at work. Child-like wonder and the magical and extraordinary make appearances and his love of flight is something I really hold close to me as well. Hayao Miyazaki's films hold views incredibly similar to my own, so not only do I enjoy his films but they really mean something to me, as well.

Princess Mononoke is still his masterpiece in my mind, but his films pepper my top 20 favorite movies of all time. I'm not going to say he's a genius or he's perfect, but he makes films that reverberate with me a good deal.

Totoro was the first movie I have ever seen by him, and perhaps my first movie ever. Can't remember too well.

However, all his movies have a unique artistic genius that bring smiles to the faces of those who watch them.
Apparently I watched that thing over and over as a little girl...
I need to see it agian.

Studio Ghibli?

I'd Of chosen Cagliostro just because it was a Lupin III film.
I agree. Cagliostro was brilliant and a Lupin III film. That is two winners in one.

Totoro because through out the whole movie I was just like what the fuck, and giggled.
I also loved his big creepy smile.

Porco Rosso is my favourite, though I love all of them. Shame that the voice overs suck though... good thing I can understand Japanese!

Princess Mononoke was the first movie of his I saw and I liked it but I saw Spirited Away more recently and also liked it. Princess Mononoke gets my vote because of nostalgia.
